Spec abilities
Squaddie:
  • Light 'Em Up makes standard primary weapon shots not turn-ending. Allows you to fire again, or fire and then use an ability! Hopefully compensated for by low and delayed aim growths.
Corporal, sergeant, lieutenant:
  • Imposition lets normal primary shots lower target aim by 10 for a turn. Passive.
  • Improvise Explosive gives you a current-tier grenade at a 2AP cost. 3 turn CD.
  • Teardown detonates an explosive object with a shot. Uses no ammo, 2 turn CD.
  • Parkour allows the soldier to climb walls. Passive.
Captain, major, colonel:
  • Fire First grants pre-emptive pot shots at any enemies that fire at you. Passive.
  • Explosive Shot fires an area-of-effect explosive-type shot. Wow! 4 turn CD.
  • Combat Rush has kills grant allies <8 tiles a 2-turn +10 aim/+10% crit/1 move bonus.
  • Plague Spear fires a poisonous 1.5x damage line shot. 2 uses, 4-turn CD.
Brigadier:
  • Trade Fire lets you return fire on ALL hostile actions for a turn. 3 turn cooldown.
  • Critical X reduces character aim by -20, but ups crit chance by 30%. Passive.
