Hey, may have found something interesting:

I loaded a save and selected a random space chunk, game froze and kept spamming the following exception:
Root level exception in OnGUI(): System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.

One more thing, I can't find the moon on the world map, is it because I didn't build the satellite?
Can also confirm the previous dude, using Alpha Biomes I found Maria rock spawning on the planet. Shouldn't it be Marina rock by the way?

We are not able to recreate it and we believe it was fixed by the last update. You need to discover the moon with the satellite dish before you are able to to see it on the worldmap.

understood, thank you for the prompt response.
Might as well be some pesky mod conflict then.

I tried Save Our Ship 2's derelict ship start, and then sent a shuttle to settle on the planet surface. The Tundra map I landed in was full of lunar rocks, which I presume to be not intented.

Also for me, not only is lunar highland/maria rock all over the planet, but they're by far the most common rock types. Apart from not making sense, it's annoying because lunar highland rock is as soft as sandstone and my hoped for mountain bases are made less viable.

Do you have any mods that add custom biomes? like Alpha Biomes. Are you playing on the custom biome or on a vanilla biome?

Hi, thanks for getting back quickly. I do have alpha biomes & more vanilla biomes. Is it a conflict and will having these modded biomes mean I can't use your mod?

These issues only happen with mods using the harmony patch for map generation. Not sure yet if we have to make a patch or if the other mods have to, but we are working on it.

Alright,thanks Radzerp. In the meantime I can use my imagination, like perhaps a meteor impact blew a chunk of moon into the rimworld atmosphere resulting in the continents getting bombarded with moon rock :)

I'm getting an odd error on map generation.

`Failed to add satellite
Verse.Log:Error(String, Boolean)
RimNauts.Gamecomp_SatellitesInOrbit:tryGenSatellite(Int32)
RimNauts.WorldGenStep_Moons:GenerateFresh(String)
RimWorld.Planet.WorldGenerator:GenerateWorld(Single, String, OverallRainfall, OverallTemperature, OverallPopulation)
RimWorld.Page_CreateWorldParams:<CanDoNext>b__14_0()
Verse.LongEventHandler:RunEventFromAnotherThread(Action)
Verse.<>c:<UpdateCurrentAsynchronousEvent>b__27_0()
System.Threading.ThreadHelper:ThreadStart_Context(Object)
System.Threading.ExecutionContext:RunInternal(ExecutionContext, ContextCallback, Object, Boolean)
System.Threading.ExecutionContext:Run(ExecutionContext, ContextCallback, Object, Boolean)
System.Threading.ExecutionContext:Run(ExecutionContext, ContextCallback, Object)
System.Threading.ThreadHelper:ThreadStart()`

Which, in effects, seems to be preventing the moon from spawning on the world map. I am as of yet unsure if it's actually there or not.

It must be a compatability error. If you don't have too many mods, could you do a bit test?
