General

This mod creates a starting position in Napoli in the year 867, which is quite strong.

You get a very strong countess, a good husband and a daughter.
The council is made up of top people.
The province itself is well developed and has excellent values with the fully operational Colosseum.

Your culture is far better developed than practically any other around.
In addition to the large number of unlocked innovations, you have developed five Roman variant of a standard Man at Arms units.

Furthermore, although feudal, you can directly declare war on others.
However, this is opposed to the fact that you only have a single county and your surroundings are hostile to you.

Before you can bring further provinces to the true faith, they must first be brought culturally on the Roman line.

The ultimate goal of restoring the ancient Roman empire is one of the most ambitious in the game.

Role-playing background

Because of the large Text this has been moved to an external PDF-File:

P.S.: If you want the Character look like in the Screenshots you need the following Mods, I think most People have them anyway because they are Must have Mods for absolutly everybody:
Community Flavor Pack
Ethnicities & Portraits Expanded
CFP + EPE Compatibility Patch

The Hair might still be not the same, choose one you like in the Barbershop.

To add some more subtle Graphic Flavor I highly recomend the use of
Flag frame

TheGraveOne made a Video using my Mod, you can find it here:

Finally, I have found a solution. Go to Steam \ teamapps \ common \ Cruader Kings III \ game \ gfx \ portraits \ portraitit_animations, and open animations. txt.
idle_scepter = {
animation = { head = "scepter" torso = "scepter" }
portrait_modifier = {
animations = fat_additive
animations_props = ep3_byzantine_scepter_prop
animations = cloak_additive
}
weight = {
base = 0
modifier = {
add = 100
primary_title = title:e_byzantium
faith.religion = religion:christianity_religion
Change it to 'faith. religion=religion: hellinismreligion' here to achieve the action of holding a scepter after converting to polytheism.

Thank you for the update. Furthermore, Your Majesty, I have also noticed that only when the Roman Emperor believed in the religious family belonging to Christianity, would he hold up his scepter. It is a pity that this action disappeared after converting to polytheism.

Yep, there was a missing # at one off the added Governement Lines - in an inactive Descision...
Should work now :)

OK, you are right, there is something broken. I try to find out what happened.
Because the last change was to add the "has_government = administrative_government" chances are high that here is something wrong.

Follow your command, Your Majesty. I just hope that Roman culture can have those cultural traditions. And although Japan has caused deep harm to us and even East Asia, categorizing it as part of the Chinese cultural sphere does not seem like a big problem. Although now Japanese culture is very different from ours, it can be seen from the script that Japan is still heavily influenced by ancient China. To get back to the point, I tried using only this mod and switching the game language to English to choose Duke VRATISLAY or even more characters, but I still didn't trigger the Roma Invicta decision. There is a has_goverment_desc option in the decisions.

I looked into the second Part of your request, but I'm not willing to put Romans and Greek toghether into one Group - that would be as if I put the Chinese and Japan Culture into one.
Besides that I can add any Tradition to the Roman Culte at the Start anyway. But I think none of the new one fits. All of these are based on the Byzantine Empire, the goal here is different, to form the true Roman Empire.
But I will put an "hosts_chariot_races = yes" into the old_roman_legacy from this Mod, which has most of the things, and more, in it anyway that the Greeks offer.

The Descicion was not changed, the only thing to prevent you from taking the descision is when your Char is of Roman Culture. So take / make a Char with a different Culture pls.

Did this update change some decisions? It seems that I cannot trigger Roma Invicta, which means I cannot obtain Caesar's bloodline and claim to Egypt. Furthermore, Your Majesty, could you like https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3338735542 Put Roman culture in the same cultural group as Greece and replicate related cultural traditions.

Most Vassals should switch to Imperium, in theory:
"every_vassal_or_below = {
limit = {
NOT = { has_government = theocracy_government }
NOT = { has_government = republic_government }
}
change_government = imperium_government
add_realm_law_skip_effects = single_heir_succession_law
}
"

I would suppose for some reason this switch was not possible, then there is an
fallback = 1
that might come in, 1 should be Feudal.
So, my explanation would be that this Fallback triggers.
But I have no Idea why the switch should not Work, since one of the OR Rules is:
"top_liege = { has_government = imperium_government }".

idk if it matters but most rulers who switched to feudal were roman or greek culture
