I bet if we checked your business card it would say, 'Super Genuis', because that's what this mod :steamhappy:is.

Great mod hope you finish your work on the other DLCs. It creates a realism feel to the game left out by Bethesda. And Keep it on steam to that's all I use.

Can you please make a version where the effects last for 24 in-game hours? I like the idea of waking up and then eating a cooked meal which then in turn effects how my whole day will turn out. This is what real life is like after all. Food effects should be on the order of lasting a day IMHO. They should be so long so that you can stack different food groups over time (e.g. have meat for breakfast and vegetables for lunch then come evening you have two fortify effects easily).

As your current mod stands I have to eat a big varied meal just before entering a fight, which breaks the immersion and the point of the mod for me.

It's been a while since I did anything with this mod, I've been trying to find time to update it to include the Hearthfire and Dragonborn foods, as well as figure out how to do the scripting to add a notification that lets you know when the food runs out. Once I do that, I probably will put it up on the Nexus.

Will you put this mod on Nexus please?

I like this mod but it seems to miss some cooked foods. Such as some of the stews.

Wonderful mod! Some foods don't seem to work completely though, the Apple Cabbage Stew and Mammoth Cheese Bowl specifically. Not sure if this is because of other mods I have installed or if its a bug with this one from recent updates. In any case, its great to see a mod that makes food worth something without trying to mimic Fallout's Hardcore starvation system.

FINALLY! Something that doesn't dump a crap of hunger/thirst requirements on you when I just wanted better food effects. Thanks!

thank you appreciate it boss :D

There's already lots of mods out there that add a negative effect for not eating. I wanted something much less harsh than that - the only negative effect is missing out on the positive effect.

Some of the foods already increase your regen rates, and adding skill exp is way too OP in my opinion - there's already sleeping and standing stones for that, and they're more than enough IMO. Again, if it's not enough for you and you want more, there's probably already other mods for that as well.

As for an "eating bar", I would love to add that, or at least have it notify you when the duration runs out. Unfortunately, at this point I lack the skills to implement that (this is my first mod for Skyrim). For now, though, periodically checking Active Effects in the magic menu gets the job done.

This is a really good idea. Vanilla food seemed pretty useless to me. A permanent and longer lasting effect seems much more realistic to me.

Could you please add an eating bar or something or watever its called, i dont even know when i am suppose to it hahahaaa, good mod tho. noooooo not eating should give negative impact on the character to make it more fun :D
Kai 5 Aug, 2012 @ 10:50pm
Can you also try adding skill exp rate into it?
Eating a very balanced meal will add a +10% exp skill rate for the duration?

So you stack up sleep on a home bed, then eat meals, and use the proper guardian stone for a large boost.
Kai 5 Aug, 2012 @ 10:48pm
Which isn't unbalanced in a sense if you don't have tons of mods that alters magicka regen.
Kai 5 Aug, 2012 @ 10:47pm
Not eating that gives negatives is wrong, I don't want survival mods!
I want a mod that balances out the vanilla skyrim's food damnit.

Also, can you apply +5/10/15% health/magicka/stamina regen over the course of the hours too?

So eating 4 types of food for magicka will net you up to 20~60% magicka regen for hours.

Not eating should have an negative impact on your stamina, as well as not sleaping. At least this mod is a step in the right direction :)

Intriguing.

This mod looks great. Simple yet useful and doesn't over do it. Many other food mods try to do too much or seem either too difficult for no reason or too overpowered. Good work!
SpaceFox40K 3 Aug, 2012 @ 3:10pm
Well look at that, another person doing my mod xD
Almost that is.
Frosty Titties 2 Aug, 2012 @ 11:07pm
