This time I used Dynamic Combat OPS Mod to do a mission on Tanoa Island, but the mission was a remote island away from the main island and there was no means of transportation, and the AI did not accept the medic command and had to commit suicide and respawn. It was difficult to continue the mission.

great missions, but for some reason when setting up the mission it quit letting me spawn vehicles.

Playing MP COOP with AI. Suddenly when the Squad Leader gets downed (Human squad lead) our entire AI squad despawns when he is revived. This started after we removed ACE Medical and went back to vanilla medical. I feel like it's just a setting that I'm missing. any advice?

Just had a mission where we had to clear four sections, did them in the order of DCA, then got to sector B and combed a large city but didn't seem to find ANY more AI. Is there a rule of thumb of where to look to find sole lone AI that are probably cowering prone in a corner/bush/rock with this mob? Like, does it spawn only in certain building types?

Excellent series of mods! May I suggest a "unlimited ammo for friendlies" option?
Also, there seems to be an issue on the Dynamic Combat Ops scenarios where supports don't show up in the supports menu when selected beforehand. Thanks!

First, thanks for this amazing mod. I have a question: How do I get to be a medic in this mission? I see that I can choose a loadout preset, but none of them are medics.

Hi, mbrdmn. I really enjoyed DCO on Malden 2035, but when I tried this mission with single or multiple AOs, Tanoa has zero units, tasks assigned, or any activity. I can see that there are game logics placed on every notable map feature (towns, ferries, etc) and there's a blue crosshatched rectangular marker, but there's no activity anywhere on the map. This mission hasn't been updated since 2017, so I guess something has been broken?

I just checked the DCO Altis and Stratis maps, and they both load up fine, just like the Malden 2035 one. Of the 4, only Tanoa has an option for multiple AOs. Is the Tanoa a different version that somehow broke?

Excelent mission.
However I'm having a problem which I feel is a mission bug:
- I can never have the Sector Hold objectives (which sometimes spawn from time to time) acomplished even if I kill all the enemies in the area and ocupy all the required objectives - these objectives never end.
This is a bit of an annoying objective which sometimes leaves me to wish that these "Sector Hold" objectives could to be removed from this otherwise excelent mission.

I really love those missions and introduced my friends on this mod. Now I rented a server so that we can play together (lan lags too much). Is it possible to put those missions on the server to play them together? I already looked for them on my Documents/Arma3 and Arma3 - Other Profiles Folders (all of them) and can't find any data. They aren't on the MP Missions and Missions Folders in my Steam/steamapps/common/Arma3 index (including the workshop files where I can't identify any of the data belonging to this mod.

Where can I find the .pbo files an is it possible to put them on a server?

Pls, what is the script or module you use to generate missions randomly?
Is it your creation or a 3rd party?
I would like to try creating missions your style.
The thing I love about your mod is that it spawns all enemies at once so, when I clear enemies at the objective, other units who have been spawned at mission creation move to my pos. They don't simply spawn around me. This lets us create many cool strategies.
For example, we establish drone surveilance over enemy areas and watch they move to reinforce the attacked position. This way we know they have not simply spawed. Then, another unit is able to ambush them as they pass through a zill zone.
So, your missions really impact on player tactics.

Tried this mission as local host with the "cog in the war"-option, but not AIs at the HQ are moving towards the target. Everything is packed up and standing around.
Did i miss something or is this broken?

As far as I know we can not start this in Multiplayer (with only me as the human player), then save and exit and then continue some other day. Doing so causes me to spawn as a civilian. Basically I want both the options to respawn (only in multiplayer) and to save and continue later (only in single player). Is there any way to get both?

This one appear to still have the issue where infantry groups don't appear when certain settings are selected (such as crew + cargo)

It's a cheat menu, yes, but it gives you access to a fully unlocked Zeus interface with custom addon support in-game. It also has some pretty cool options that elevate it beyond just a cheater's paradise.

Either as an option for the squad leader, or as an different role slot. This to make the already made missions, even more dynamic and "better placed" at times, or just to add more stuff into them if your using mods.

A zeus function would be bloody great - and is currently an issue of anoyance that its lacking.

Is there anyway to disable the stamina? Our group loves it, but the stamina system really kills it for us. I'm not too wise on if it's doable so sorry if it is!

is there a way to ensure a helicopter spawns? It sucks getting 7.5k to the obj only to have your ride blow up haha.

Sorry, but I can't get the heli transport to work. I call it in, get in and tell my unit to get in but there's no option to give a support transport location, so the heli just sits there.

Right great "mod,"(Haven't a clue what its technical name is), however, it may be the aspect ration or resolution (Don't Know how), but, when choosing anything I can't click near the bottom on the the setup screens, both of them. Which also means sometimes I can't choose a tank squad or things like that. And I can't scroll down on the menu so I can't actually select supports, the amount of times needed. So, just wondering if you know what's happening.

P.S. This doesn't happen on recon ops from what I've seen

Peg Leg Manlet - If you have selected a helicopter transport as one of your support options you can use that, otherwise I'm afraid at this stage of development you're out of luck.

Church - Hi, I have to balance performance against the number of units spawned in large scale missions like these but I can look at shifting the balance of infantry to vehicles slightly more towards vehicles. Cheers!

What resources did you use in the development of this modification? Was there much third-party documentation/tutorials that assisted you in the creation of this mod?

Also gotta say this is by far my favorite series of modifications. I always found there was little point to custom scenarios. Especially with my internet connection. Thanks for your contribution.

Since i have subbed to your dynamic combat, and recon mods, i have noticed something
There seems to be a lack of vehicles overall outside of your vehicles that you have chose or what the enemy has, Could you prehaps create some set spawns for helis/planes and even maybe some other types or could you prehaps either give us more vehicle/infantry slots so we could have bigger assaults and bigger defences? Anyway i like your mods and i think they are awesome! :)

I started a game and my objectives are on another island. Do I have to swim to that island or can I use a helicopter transport immediatly starting off?

Alright I tested it and it seems like whatever you did has fixed it. I restarted 5 times with both custom and random weather settings an the wind is ok. I also have full control over wind using Zeus, something that did not work previously. Good work!

Ferdinand - Part of the script already forces the fog to 0 to get around some problems with fog in MP.

Loving the mod, been playing this since it came out. But I wanted to point out that when I have been playing it lately I have experienced that the wind is turned up to insane hurricane levels a few times. Could be the mods I'm using such as ACE that is interfering with DCO. Still I thought I'd just let you know about a potential bug.

Man, I must say, DCO and DRO are the best singleplayer Arma 3 experience I've ever had. You stroke a perfect balance between challenge and fun. Having played in some milsim units I couldn't even imagine that Arma 3 singleplayer could offer me anything but you prove me wrong. Amazing job! Can't wait to try other terrains.

Hi mbrdmnn, thank you so much for the work on this and all your other dynamic mods! They've become the staple of my library and gameplay for SP.

Question, would it be possible in further updates to make it so we can choose in Combat ops whether the mission is for attacking, or for defending?

I.E, in one of the menu options, have it so we choose the amount of enemy that wants to blow up a cache we as the player must defend.

I just think it would give some more dynamism to the mission.

Zeus is again disabled. I have the module in and set to #adminlogged but it does not work. Design choice or issue? Would really like it back to help manage our clan sessions. Prevents whining.

I haven't forced first person, no. I have turned off the debug console as it was only present while I was working on some fixes.

DavidMN - This is a problem with the BIS support scripting I believe - you might have better luck if you drop the support marker on an actual target but otherwise I'm going to need to rewrite it myself at some point.

Catbug. - Thanks! You're not missing any settings, that's definitely the fault of a bug or two. It might be useful to get an .rpt file from you as detailed under Troubleshooting above. Missing HC commands is new to me but I'm currently looking into the squad issue - what I'd be most interested to know is whether the units get the loadout of whichever class is on their class dropdown when the Team Planning menu first loads rather than what you change it to.

Hey man! Firstly, thanks for being awesome and making this. Secondly, I am having difficulty getting high command to work. When I start the scenario I set my team up and add a few squads to the platoon, but when I actually get to the mission I have no HC menu and on occasion my squad is randomised. Am I missing a setting?

I have no mods that would conflict. Just IFA3 LITE.

Calling in CAS only dispatches the helicopter, they refuse to engage anything. They fly around meekly. I've tried using laser designators, etc, nothing works.

LawnDartLeo - Thanks for the screenshots, I've been puzzling over them but can't work out the cause yet - possibly something to do with Zeus being present as well? But that's just a complete guess. Regarding ports, yup that's all you need to do - as long as the composition is copied to the new map along with all the files you should be good.

i'll be wrecking this on my own out of curiosity... but porting to maps other than those you have created already. Is it as simple as copying units to a new mission SQM or does the map have to be indexed in come way? This question applies to both RECON amd COMBAT missions.
