Sad to see this project fizzle, though I know this game only goes so far for alot of people. This masterpiece and it other 12 buddies have brought much joy to me. If anyone knows of more things like this around please post Id love to see this running again!

Link to Rico revisited

This is the new MOD for Rico if you want this building to be a working industry. If not it will be a 'park'-entertainment.
Violeta 19 Nov, 2020 @ 3:04pm
Hi, I see that this asset is RICO industrie, but in the tag on steam you put PARK insteady of unique building or eletric, or maybe oil. Well Is only that is very beautifull I will downloaded today.
@conc_rete
is that mod dosent works?
conc_rete 23 May, 2020 @ 2:43pm
Hi, any plans to update this for Industries functionality? It's a fantastic asset but sort of goofy to have it doing generic industrial work next to oil-specific buildings. Would love to integrate it into an oil refinery+power plant with your other assets.

Consider making an Industries DLC version of this beautiful asset.

Hi, can you bring a modification of this to produce heated water/steam for heating the buildings of my cims?
baronjutter 8 Jul, 2018 @ 6:20pm
Really hope to see more huge heavy industry assets. We have some huge realistic warehouses, but even this set of oil refinery items just seems small when I look at some of the great chemical plants and refineries of the world.

They are? I'd dearly love some huge industrial assets like a steelworks. We don't want this Green Cities nonsense. We want the rain to stain our shirts and the snow to fall black; the clouded skies tainted by the belching smokestacks of a thousand furnaces and pot banks! The glow like the fires of hell that inspired Philip James de Loutherbourg to paint 'Coalbrookdale by Night'. Where are my engines hissing with pressure, straining against their great hauls of dark bounty; the great sheave wheels of the coal mine pit-heads turning against the night sky? The towering mills crowding each town against the huddled rows of back-to-back housing that caused William Blake to pen the line about "...those dark Satanic Mills". This is my city: a breathing pit of man's might, wrought against nature. Help me build it!

@MustacheFox : If you're still monitoring this - I have it on good authority that loads of steelworks assets are coming soon, from a couple different sources! ;-)
Breadboi 8 Mar, 2018 @ 5:33pm
Yup I'm the one that made that post. The only thing I really need is the main blast furnace complex, everything else can be improvised with other assets. For a good reference, go look at Zug Island in Detroit. It can be described as an industrial hell on earth, so it's a perfect reference for some really filthy industry.
Badi_Dea  [author] 8 Mar, 2018 @ 5:13pm
I'm guessing you made that post on Reddit then? :-P
I have two more planned releases based on road network type things (one directly related to this asset in fact) after those are up, I'll get started on a steel mill / ore processing type structure.

The hardest part of making industrial buildings like this is making them look like the thing it's supposed to be, especially for those of us that have zero practical knowledge of the industry.
You wouldn't happen to have any suggestions for what you'd like to see?
Breadboi 8 Mar, 2018 @ 4:44pm
So how's the steel works going? I asked about a year ago, just wondering how it's going if you've started that is.
Atys 25 Oct, 2017 @ 7:27pm
What kind of lights did you use on this beauty? They are really great ;)
Zlaayer 1 Jul, 2017 @ 3:31pm
Beautiful detail and it really adds to an oil refinery district's character. Thanks
nanshe 8 Feb, 2017 @ 10:10am
Wow ! Awesome !
Thank you very much !
I would like to have more buildings like that !
Harkon 12 Jan, 2017 @ 1:36pm
@SilverWind: Yeah, with a market capitalisation of over half a billiom USD Paradox Interactive is clearly scraping for resources...
But hey, you don't even know who actually made the game... (and yes, at the time CO employed 9 people - but that has nothing to do with Paradox's forums...)
Breadboi 3 Jan, 2017 @ 5:02pm
Oh nice. Excited, because your models are second to none in terms of quality
Badi_Dea  [author] 3 Jan, 2017 @ 4:00pm
Tthat is actually on the list as Ore Processor RICO assets. But it's gonna be a while before I get to them.
Breadboi 3 Jan, 2017 @ 11:30am
Have you ever thought about making steel mill assets? I think lots of us would really appreciate them if you ever do.
Mishi 23 Dec, 2016 @ 12:49pm
nice !

Awesome !
fotografenbenthansen 22 Dec, 2016 @ 7:01am
Yeah.. That RICO makes truble for me in the game. More ore less all the RICO mods I try to add, dosen work AT ALL in the game. I have truble with loading the game, mods dosen work, the game becoms slow, and the list of truble I have with most mods are very long. Sadly... And I dont know why. But maybe steam dosen support the mods?!. I dont know why I have so much truble with this game
Badi_Dea  [author] 21 Dec, 2016 @ 5:34pm
It can be found under the Oil tab in the RICO menu as an Oil Processor. If you do not use the RICO mod, this asset will be under the Parks menu.
fotografenbenthansen 21 Dec, 2016 @ 2:18pm
How do I get this to work?. i have add it to my building list, but I cant find it when I play the game...
baronjutter 21 Dec, 2016 @ 1:49pm
Love all the rico stuff. Growables being limited to 4x4 really held the game back, and hand-placement allows for much more realistic results. Suburban houses and little shops are fine grown, but anything bigger feels so much better plopped.
RadicalEdward2 21 Dec, 2016 @ 11:32am
As cool as it is, I'm kind of getting tired of the RICO oversaturation because no one's really bothering with making actually zoned buildings that can be generated without having RICO installed.

Fantastic!!! My mouth is watering just looking at this asset
itsmetheuglykid 18 Dec, 2016 @ 5:43pm
incredible! thank you.
Avanya 18 Dec, 2016 @ 2:40pm
Absolutely amazing work! Looking at it I can begin to imagine the horrors of optimizing this for the game, but I gotta say I think you found a good place for it! It's gorgeous with lots of detail, but doesn't feel like there's too much detail for the game. Only downside I can see to this is it's so good looking it's tempting to put down many more than a refinery would ever have. ;)

Big thumbs up! :steamhappy:

wow excelente gracias
