Thank you, this mod has been so helpful, and has re-kindled my love for two handed weapons, before I was like "I would use this cool warhammer, but it would just swing so slow" but now I can swing like it weighs nothing, once again, thank you!

Wow! Thank you for this mod. I feel like a real berserker now! not a weakling Nord who can barely swing his weapon
highlanderhln 24 Oct, 2012 @ 1:06am

ewwitsalina 30 Sep, 2012 @ 4:10pm
k thanks

@ewwitsalina: Not bows or crossbows. 2-handed swinging weapons.
ewwitsalina 3 Sep, 2012 @ 9:03pm
so it works with every 2handed weapon?
Pingu 29 Aug, 2012 @ 9:23am
@Seelz it makes so you swing 2handed swords as fast as 1handed swords there is no special weapon
Nate 29 Aug, 2012 @ 5:41am
where is it?
anubisu 28 Aug, 2012 @ 5:03pm
alright i tested it out and it worked fine just rather safe then sorry haha
Blakeyrat  [author] 28 Aug, 2012 @ 2:43pm
@synsar: if your other mod marks the weapon correctly as being 2-handed in the database, it should work fine.
anubisu 28 Aug, 2012 @ 3:08am
i have a mod that gives me a "frostmourne" 1h and 2h will this mod affect my weapon mod for that?
Aleksei 28 Jun, 2012 @ 6:26am
well if its a mod then its useless!
Pingu 13 Jun, 2012 @ 6:14am
it's not a cheat it's a mod
FunTox 4 Jun, 2012 @ 8:54am
dont work for me
Blakeyrat  [author] 2 Jun, 2012 @ 9:56am
@waydeno1: BTW, while I was in there making the fix for Frank, I deleted the bow portion of the mod, so this mod no longer applies to bows at all.
Blakeyrat  [author] 2 Jun, 2012 @ 9:53am
@frank: With any luck the latest update should fix your problem. I had to add a couple targeting rules to set the correct value based on whatever the player's default value was.
Blakeyrat  [author] 2 Jun, 2012 @ 9:29am
@frank: Trying the mod on a fresh file, I see the problem now. The default "weaponspeedmult" value is actually zero, but the game treats zero as 1 (!!!). Meaning my mod instead of turning 1 into 1.5, turns 0 into 0.5.

Fixing now.

Alright, thanks for clarifying it.
Blakeyrat  [author] 2 Jun, 2012 @ 9:20am
@frank: Well it's possible CreationKit packaged the mod incorrectly, I'll do another round of testing.
Rabidmabel 2 Jun, 2012 @ 9:18am
Nope, no other weapon speed mods
Blakeyrat  [author] 2 Jun, 2012 @ 9:12am
@frank: do you have any other mods that might affect weapon speed? What this one does is add 0.5 to the "weaponspeedmult" actor value, which in theory causes weapons to swing 150% faster.
Rabidmabel 2 Jun, 2012 @ 9:11am
I had the effect, but all two-handed weapons were swinging slower than the slowest weapon there is.
Blakeyrat  [author] 2 Jun, 2012 @ 9:04am
@frank: It's definitely not intended to be a joke. When you are wielding a 2-handed weapon, can you check the magic menu and see if you have an effect named "Weapon Speed"?
Blakeyrat  [author] 2 Jun, 2012 @ 9:04am
@waydeno1: Just from eyeballing it, it looks like this mod does not affect drawback speed on bows, but it does seem to accelerate everything else.
Rabidmabel 2 Jun, 2012 @ 7:05am
All my two-handed weapons are now swinging really, really slowly! Is this a problem or a joke?
Blakeyrat  [author] 1 Jun, 2012 @ 7:18am
@waydeno1: Good question, and the answer is: "I don't know". The value I'm adjusting is named "weaponspeedmult", so presumably it applies to both. If you test it out, please come back and post it, or I'll be able to answer your question after work today.

Sounds like a pretty sweet mod by the description. Just one thing though, for the bow portion does this apply to the drawing of the bow or the arrow-knocking speed?
