Cool

Finally figured out the problem. Since I tried making a new character earlier and it worked, I tried remaking my main character and going through everything with admin commands. Still didn't hear new music. Then I remebered that that new character could of possibly only been in single player, and I was testing my main character on the single player universe.

So then I tried wiping my "single" player universe and made a new one with my existing main character, bam, new music. Combined with you mentioning that worlds store the music when created, I put two and two together and realized the only reason I was hearing it in my single player game is because I more or less "am" the server with my installed mods.

So I put the music mods on my server and woo hoo! The new tracks now play! So I guess despite being a client only mod, if the server doesn't have it, it won't work even for players who do have the mod.
Serath 22 AGO 2016 a las 12:41 p. m.
Hope it isn't, don't really feel like restarting over just for music. If I unsub all music mods though the music returns to normal though. Think I'll wait for the upcoming update, it might be addressed there.
CleverAdvisor  [autor] 19 AGO 2016 a las 5:11 p. m.
I meant individual worlds, you dont have to start over to hear them. Might be an issue with your character if a new one works?
Serath 19 AGO 2016 a las 1:29 a. m.
If by world you mean entire universe and not individual planets, that sounds pretty difficult to implement mods then for addtional music, less someone has to start over their entire universe just because they added a music mod.

Because I went to a different star entirely nearly 400,000,000,000 away and still getting the same music.

So i was working on a mod and noticed desert-battle-2 isnt played anywhere in the game, gonna update the mod sometime so it plays! it's a really good track too

eonman6 16 AGO 2016 a las 5:32 a. m.
i have the original soundtrack too
CleverAdvisor  [autor] 15 AGO 2016 a las 2:52 p. m.
Im not sure how servers works when creating worlds but im pretty sure when a world is created it loads up the biome files and if the person doesnt have the mods when they first load it up then the music wont play because the world doesnt have the mod tracks in the playlist. not sure if that made sense but that would be my guess
Serath 15 AGO 2016 a las 2:23 p. m.
(Sorry I'm spamming the comments but I don't want to open a discussion thread because I'd be the first to open one, and I'm really the only one having this problem.)

So besides your mods, here's my entire mod list, all on my server unless it's clientside.

Serath 15 AGO 2016 a las 2:12 p. m.
Seems to be character based. Tried a new and my main character on my "mostly for experimental purposes" single player universe. (Usually play on my server.) The new character gets new music consistently, while my main never gets it. I think maybe he got a really quiet song once.
Serath 15 AGO 2016 a las 1:40 p. m.
No I don't. They all add, not replace. The only music mods I have is everything of yours (save for the Zelda one) and Frackin Music, which also does not replace.

(Oh yes, it seems more than the SNES Metroid Theme plays in the menu, but still only the main menu is there new music.)
CleverAdvisor  [autor] 14 AGO 2016 a las 11:04 a. m.
The fact the mods play in the menus but 1 song loop in a biome means theres a mod conflict. One rhing you could try is make a new character and in your first planet beam up and down changing the music.
CleverAdvisor  [autor] 14 AGO 2016 a las 11:01 a. m.
Do you have any music replacing mods? Thats could cause 1 song loop for a planet.
Serath 14 AGO 2016 a las 10:45 a. m.
I've been to new planets unfortuantley. In fact the game picks one song upon landing and plays that song in an endless loop now, as I detailed here.

CleverAdvisor  [autor] 13 AGO 2016 a las 8:22 p. m.
I'm not sure what could be the problem, I made to sure to test if they all work and they do. One thing i have noticed is though they wont play in worlds you've already discovered. Try going to an unexplored planet and see if you can hear them.
Serath 13 AGO 2016 a las 5:06 p. m.
Ok, there must be something I'm not getting with these music addition mods. I have all but the Zelda mods from this Soundtrack Addition collection, including this one, and even Frackin Music, and none of it plays. At all. The only one I hear is the Metroid music at the title screen. Do I have to add these mods to my server? Because I thought it was clientside.

Works like a charm:myougiLaugh:
Barf Ninja 4 AGO 2016 a las 6:22 a. m.
That's good to know. :p
CleverAdvisor  [autor] 3 AGO 2016 a las 7:48 p. m.
It actually already plays there by default.:steamfacepalm:
Barf Ninja 3 AGO 2016 a las 7:20 p. m.
Judging from Tatsu's mods, you're missing the body-electric-loop for alien biome, or at least it seems like it. :p
It's Peanut 3 AGO 2016 a las 5:08 p. m.
Thanks for this!:steamhappy:
BLUESTORM2112 3 AGO 2016 a las 5:03 p. m.
That's Tatsu's mods.
CleverAdvisor  [autor] 3 AGO 2016 a las 4:55 p. m.
Think you might be confusing me for another modder. There is another mod that does something similar but it replaces the music instead of let the tracks play in addition with them.
Alessondria 3 AGO 2016 a las 4:34 p. m.
This is all your 'missing music' rolled into one, correct?
