Dear Haplo_X1,

Please update MAI, Its a neat race for both "Nothing but AI" plays as well as "AI god" and "AI tool" plays. I miss playing it. Those were great stories.

What is in Biotech that you feel makes MAI is redundant or incongruent or what ever it is you feel?

A second point I want to actually press is MAI is great. Overhauls tend to change that completely. I'd like for that to not change. I don't know whats going through your head so I can't convince you until you reply, but I wish you all the best either, either, any way.

Not everyone has biotech, I'm sure a lot of people would really apprechiate an update.

Haplo, no pressure at all. I've loved your mod since I first installed Rimworld with mods. But not everyone has or maybe even uses Biotech.. I just got Ideo not long ago when I picked this back up with RW1.4. For the rest of us that just like playing with what we have, if it's not difficult no overhaul needed an Updated MAI would be amazing!

Thank you for all you've done already for such a great game. Maybe google will teach me someday how to keep all these great mods working in my game. So many modders stepping away from great work. Not complaining, most are working on things "much" better... Thanks for reading this and your consideration, take care. Keep up the good work. ALL your MISC has been great for my games. Not removing anything til the black screens come back. haha

MAI was one of my favorite mods. But I get it. With Biotech MAIs don't seem to fit in to the RimWorld lore. But I definetively would like to see it updated to 1.4, whether overhauled or not.

I'm currently not sure if I'll update MAI.
In principle if I do it, it should be a kind of general overhaul because of what is in Biotech.
So, I'm not sure yet what I'll do, therefor MAI will not be updated for the time being..

The music bug should be repaired in the Github version. I can't update here right now, sorry.
For the mechanites: I can't really think of a cause by this mod other than the wealth goes up and gives you harder issues from the storyteller.

Thanks to 永世神选卡大锤 I think I've found the issue..
I've uploaded a bugfix to GitHub but it is currently untested.
Steam must wait as I can't test it right now..

is the music issue when we have a mai, the research, just klinda happens sometimes, or what exactly? wondering I killed my three mai and still gots no music lol

Thank you for the finding out. Still I have not a real idea what exactly the problem could be. I think I need to check if pawns have a kind of royalty part that's missing from Mai? At least this is a new lead that I can check. Thank you for your searching :)

I use the mod "no royalty music" and the problem went away, now think the source of these problems is pretty clear.

I noticed that after I built my first misc robot, the game will stop to play any music and there was a severe lag when the game was trying to change music, have any idea?

I am a big believer that large amounts of mods, for any game. Will produce unexpected and impossible errors every once in a blue moon that are not a fault of any mod or game. Its just those certain combinations that bring about unexpected things in the mechanic flow.

I believe that there are certain mod conflicts and compatibility issues in RimWorld that no amount of smart code sleuthing can solve. I could have sworn that, some time ago, I read a certain topic on Ludeon's forums explaining a weird way in which certain combinations of mods will result in completely unpredictable, sometimes very bizarre game behavior. It had to do with game memory and the way mods are loaded. And as I recall, there isn't much mod authors can do about it. I thought I had bookmarked this topic, but I can't seem to find it now.

@Jan: I looked through Mai, but can't really find the issue. Right now I have a save game where the issue occurs, but still.. I have no idea what in Mai could cause the music issue :(
I'll continue to search, but am not too optimistic that I'll find the issue..

hey, does anyone get the message 'output blocked, cannot produce robot' despite building the auto manufacturer in a spot that indicates it as green, and there is no other structure near it? let alone anything at the interaction spot?

I noticed colonists can be assigned to recharge stations too which gives them 220% rest effectiveness beds. Is this correct? I think colonists should prefer a normal bed instead of a battery recharge cage...

I haven't played in a while. My notes for 1.0 says that comments suggested that this mod may be incompatible with CE (Combat Extended) and Woohooer.

Can anyone confirm whether these conflict or whether they seem to work okay? I've searched the Discussions area, the description, and the last 15 pages of recent comments, but I can't find a single mention of CE, Combat Extend or Woohooer.

I have updated Mai on Github, but currently I have some problems regarding the secondary graphic. This is something I have to figure out why it will not switch before I update Steam.

can you make this mod compatible with “run and gun”?
when i use my robot-army to kill zombies
my boys are always stuck
i know more robots and more firepower can solve this problem
but i can't build more robots In the early stages of the game
run and gun provide new solutions
Like the Mongolian cavalry against the European heavy cavalry
