The concepts are very nice and the Mod is bug-free however I won the game a few turns after the portal became available so I never got to use it. I suggest starting in a later era so you get to use the portals. A scenario with very restricted land and sea access could really make the Portals shine.

I really like the look of this Civ, however circumstances of my game with it have lead to what i think is a bug with the civ. I went to war with a civ very early on (archers and spearmen) and i found that after attacking them a few times, my units would then refuse to attack anymore. They can move, heal and take their full turn, they just wont attack enemys and move into spots where there are enemy workers. It's a bit innoying but im sure if i went later in the game it would fix it's self out. Please have a look at this because it can make the start of a game very innoying. OTher than that i love the entire civ and all the units. Thanks for the great work!

Love this civ so much! The UU's and UB give a real sense of arcane power to the mid game. One suggestion though (and it's totally cosmetic) - could you change the architecture style from the Native American style to the Asian style? The odd-looking geometric/pyramid structures are too light-colored to really drive home the "Dark Elves" vibe, but the dark walls and curved roofs of the asian buildings would be an awesome fit. Thanks for your hard work! :)

I'm liking this civ, but if I could make a suggestion, could it be possible to let the dragons move over mountain tiles? And one other thing I have noticed is that if you embark a dragon it turns it into a boat model like all of the other units when you embark, would it be possible to make the dragons embark and retain their appearance? Like the airships in G&K steampunk? Regardles this is a nice mod.

I have a problem with the Black Dragon. It has 100 moves, 40 strengh, can shoot, can be created by any civilization within 1 turn in the very beginning.

I can see why people would want entirely unique race traits, but this one is good, and it keeps it balanced.

...But Korea is my favorite, so I might be biased.

Embrace Darkness: +2 magic (science) for all specialists and for all Great Person tile improvements. Receive a tech boost each time a scientific building/Wonder is built in the elven capital. same traits als korea : /

Sounds really nice but a friend (playing undead) and I (dark elves) are able to create Black dragon in 1 turn at start, barbarian can also have one in their camp at start
Dragon move seems "infinit" (value = 100 and not 3 ^^) they also one shot starting state city and units ^^
other fun fact : if you get an anciant ruin that upgrade unit with your dragon it becomes a Spearman unit ^^

make goblins or orcs, they would loot for every battle they have, basicly taking everything from enemies that they can. They also get bonus gold for pillaging cities and farms

.Chalaux Did you make any changes to Happiness? I am playing a 4 city civ on Prince level and really struggleing with Happiness staying above +1. Just wondering if there is a negative effect for population or number of cities? Or, is it set to Default?

Come across a bug with the Black Dragons, you're able to upgrade them into a Black Dragon, costing 10 gold. The upgrade does nothing.

interesting ideas, will you create a kind of ethnic mod for these fantasy by using for example fall from heaven units?it would be a good way for a fantasy game without every units looking as the same, elves would look like elves and no beard (warrior)

@leroynukenson Haha kind of, it's just that every time I start working on a new one another civ seems more interesting, and end up doing the new one instead. It's pretty much done but I need to find some good art for the icons and backgrounds, which is the part that takes me most time.

@Florian In fact dragons should be throwing fire out of their mouths but for some reason I don't understand the animation is not working. Will keep trying on fixing it.
