That's a shame, love your work tho. Escpecially the Orthrus Cruiser, your should make more battlecruisers.
Lord Commissar  [author] 3 Jul, 2017 @ 6:27am
as you say, factional issues. the ship is old and therefore multiple patches mean they dont work like they used to, or become prone to glitches of that sort.
2014 Honda Civic Si w/ VTEC 2 Jul, 2017 @ 11:27pm
Yeah, my bad didn't reallly explore the ship, but the guns don't fire and they don't belong to me or any faction. When I messed with them and assigned a random faction they worked, do you know what happened?
Lord Commissar  [author] 2 Jul, 2017 @ 4:22pm
you have to use the control seats in the CIC, otherwise you'll need to manually load the tabs in the flight seat or elsewhere

check the user manual section above concerning turret controls
2014 Honda Civic Si w/ VTEC 2 Jul, 2017 @ 3:20pm
Could the issue be caused by an update?
2014 Honda Civic Si w/ VTEC 2 Jul, 2017 @ 3:19pm
Also, are the gatling/missile turrets auto or manual?
2014 Honda Civic Si w/ VTEC 2 Jul, 2017 @ 3:05pm
For some reason, the hotbar is empty when I pilot the ship. Any fixes?

The design of your ship from the top is sleek. I aprove

Hey Commissar, do you plan on updating this with the Rotor Turret Control Script used on the Bear Land Cruiser?
lazurkri 16 Jan, 2016 @ 10:42pm
yeah, I tend to take ships off the workshop, throw them at bases with varying amounts of defenses, and see how they do; yours is the first in a long time to surprise me.... I salute you on using real world design concepts like deleting a external "Bridge" like a lot of other designers think a warship needs and instead keep everything buried deep inside the ship; I especially liked the "Flight Bridge" and "CIC" separation.
Lord Commissar  [author] 16 Jan, 2016 @ 2:38pm
glad to hear it. always nice to hear battle reports of the ships, as it helps to know what to keep doing/not to do in the future
lazurkri 15 Jan, 2016 @ 10:44pm
Finally, a in-atmosphere ship that deserves to call itself a WarShip... I've thrown this at a test base with a buttload of rocket turrets in a attempt to destroy the base, and lo and behold, it managed to cripple the base before I pulled off for repairs, unlike most ships I try that take 4 or 5 rockets to the wings or belly (were most engines are located in those flawed designs), lose lift power, and crash. Great job!
usererror 7 Jan, 2016 @ 7:15pm
@Lord Commissar, thanks for the reply.. Wish my system could properly make use of your ships - they are incredibly well thought out. Really enjoyed the video you put out as well - great to see it in a scenario like that. Hope to see more of those in the future.
Lord Commissar  [author] 7 Jan, 2016 @ 11:05am
@usererror he has not published the script. you'll need to get it from the ship if you want it

@Captain Jack nothing in particular, feel free to review any that you want as i always enjoy the more detailed feedback that videos bring
Captain Jack  [developer] 7 Jan, 2016 @ 10:56am
Ahh makes sence :D Glad you liked the review! Let me know if you have any other ships you would like showcased/reviewed!
usererror 6 Jan, 2016 @ 8:52pm
The Grav script seems to be link-less atm, and I didin't see it on whiplash's workshop page. Did I miss it, or is there anywhere else to pick it up without pulling it off the ship (ships a bit too much for my machine to handle)?
Lord Commissar  [author] 6 Jan, 2016 @ 3:54pm
also, the placement of the reverse thruster is mostly due to the fact that it was one of the only places i could fit one. it is related to the lack of forward weaponry, in that the ship is meant for broadsiding and not frontal assaults.
Lord Commissar  [author] 6 Jan, 2016 @ 3:50pm
thanks for the review, always nice to see these ships in videos :)

as for the gravitational alignment, it does work in atmospheres. you saw nothing happen because the ship was already level.

there's a demonstration here: https://youtu.be/MRbn9cItd9U?t=730

Lord Commissar  [author] 4 Jan, 2016 @ 4:58pm
you know you can turn hounds and sabiroids off, right?
Seohn 4 Jan, 2016 @ 1:41pm
My biggest issue though is that I hope as they add new enemies they allow you to select which ones you want in your world. Personally I hate exploding enemies. Like the new cyber hounds. They wreck everything. That and for some reason I have a curse with creepers in minecrafts. They spawn like crazy around me. My friends didn't believe me until we played on a server together. They kept saying how they never see that many creepers when they play. Gets annoying. Like minecraft its the one enemy I would remove from the game.
Seohn 4 Jan, 2016 @ 1:41pm
I would say Vanilla on the workshop so if a person wants to add whatever mods they want to it they can. Perhaps like with funiture where you have the vanilla ship for download but you can show examples where rooms with funiture mods. I agree it would be nice to have some vanilla funiture in the game for more decorative purposes. The oinly mod I use is the helmet mod becuase I like how it adds a quick hud to the screen and makes it really quick to tell if you have a helmet on or not in survival. I have thought about getting a few funiture mods to add more detail to my ships though. I think it would be nice to eventually have food in the game too.
Nebbercracker 4 Jan, 2016 @ 12:49pm
ye I suppose the practicality of non modded ships to paste to other worlds is quite appealing. So thats it then no more modded ships ever
Lord Commissar  [author] 4 Jan, 2016 @ 11:17am
not entirely, while i agree vanilla is more challenging, especially in the area of functionality (thus why i am strongly opposed to the majority of reactor, weapon, and engine mods), there are some things which simply are not possible without mods. Furniture is one primary example, where the only alternative is to make small grid furnishings, but that is not an option on a large ship where you need everything bolted down. you could use landing gear, of course, but then copy and paste and blueprints won't carry over the furnishings. rotors are your only option, which you don't always have the space for.
Seohn 4 Jan, 2016 @ 11:12am
Although I can see the appeal of mods for ships. I find using what the developers gave you a more challanging and skillful task. And it allows more people to enjoy your creations. Mods are for people who can't build cool things with the basics set of tools.
HeatLighting 4 Jan, 2016 @ 10:17am
Amazing build I enjoy your builds very much! Maybe you can video tape one of your builds one time?
Lord Commissar  [author] 4 Jan, 2016 @ 10:16am
mods make it very incovenient to paste things into worlds. multiple people have complained about mods usage over the past year, but what finally convinced me was my own inability to paste my own ships into friend's servers, or even in my own server where older ships used different mods from newer ones.

I will still make usage of mods in worlds, with planetary facilities and things of that sort. that is because you won't need to have mods beforehand to load up a world with mods (unlike blueprints), and such facilities will not be intended for copy & pasting.
Nebbercracker 4 Jan, 2016 @ 9:10am
dark lord what happened to the mods , just curious ?
Jenmare 4 Jan, 2016 @ 5:18am
That policy is as simple as not using mods in ship designs.
Lord Commissar  [author] 3 Jan, 2016 @ 6:23pm
@Jen'mare out of curiosity, what would that policy be?
BlackArmor 3 Jan, 2016 @ 12:42pm
Wonderful ship and name

Hmm, I like it. It is not often when I can say that I truly love a ship on workshop those days. But this one is truly unique. Not only does it comply with a policy that I myself accepted for my creations, but it actually looks nice and despite it's size, it has pretty decent interiors that look bigger than they are. I am impressed by your work. *applause*
Timm 2 Jan, 2016 @ 4:32pm
dude. no mods- amazing!
