Thank you very much. In fact this is the very first building I have created (and in general the very first 3D model). How the time flies...
About the reflections: Sadly the game uses a generic image for reflection. It does not represent the surroundings.

I just have a small question cause I'm curious: Does the reflective buildings like this really mirror the city or is it some kind of image? Really like this building

@rsepsot I’m a bit busy right now. But you can add the office to RICO for yourself till I updated it. http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=699584491

Looking forward for the RICO version!

@Griffin jop I won't change that :)
Vellis 9 Aug, 2016 @ 4:17am
if RICO dont change its default from Office... D:

I’m going to update it for RICO later this week or maybe next week. I want to reduce the tris count (it will be still high, but not that high…) and add my outdoor furniture props too.

This building looks really good! could we see a RICO version / compatability?
thumbs up for sure :steamhappy:
SonOfNitrous 6 Apr, 2016 @ 5:42am
Wow, 21 516 tris...quite high count. But it looks very well =)
Vellis 14 Mar, 2016 @ 4:24pm
Doesn't really matter. It still works and looks nice :steamhappy:

@Ryhuul That's strange. I don't know what to do because I subcribed my own bulding and it says "Joak's Office" ...
Vellis 14 Mar, 2016 @ 2:02pm
Internal name is "2" where previous it was something 'Joak's -----'.

thank you, Thumbs up

@creepyeyes thanks for your tip. I tried overlapping UV maps on this building but the result was unsatisfactory. The bricks are looking fuzzy and the file size was only 2mb smaller. But I will consider overlapping UV maps for future objects to get smaller sizes.

No Dread is right, having overlapping UV maps for identical/repeated (or even almost-identical) sections of the building really helps cut down on texture size. It's still something I have to work on myself, but I'd highly recommend checking out a UVmapping tutorial for whichever program you use.
SuperSizeMe 29 Nov, 2015 @ 12:27am
Just spawned in my city and it looks beautiful.
No Dread 28 Nov, 2015 @ 10:42pm
To make building textures smaller, you have to get into UV mapping tricks. IIRC, this lets you use the same section of texture multiple times on different parts of your model, allowing you to 'tile' things like windows in areas where appropriate. That way you can use tiny textures to cover big buildings if they have repetition.

P.S.: I'm not a modeler myself, just worked with them in the past and read up on it a little.

May I ask how many tris?
Timeweise 27 Nov, 2015 @ 9:36am
Looks great! Thanks for reducing the size.
cRAGGLEOz 27 Nov, 2015 @ 1:49am
Great work I wish I had the time/talent
SuperSizeMe 26 Nov, 2015 @ 8:36pm
I like the smaller size. Keep up the efforts man.
Polygon  [author] 26 Nov, 2015 @ 3:23pm
I tried… this is the smaller version :D
With a file size below 10mb the bricks aren’t recognizable and the building looks horrible. Perhaps there is another way than resizing the textures? All that stuff is new for me. It’s my first building.
miguelcervera 26 Nov, 2015 @ 1:48pm
Fantastic building BUT 13 MB for a growable office mate? Could you try to reduce it?
