This mod is obsolute now.
LeonardMT 8 Nis 2021 @ 9:57
There's no need for this mod anymore use Prop & Tree Anarchy
Future 8 Tem 2020 @ 6:29
Water from a tsunami gets 'trapped' in a building/road/prop/etc and won't evaporate causing the tsunami warning to not stop
Future 6 Tem 2020 @ 10:49
could I use this to end the 'never ending tsunami warning' glitch?

I know this is an old mod, but is there any way to purposly make the trees look like the ones in the water, since they have nice fall colors, but I do not want to submerge my city to obtain that look. I wanted this since there are not many varriation between fall trees.

Does this prevent trees and such from apearing "dead" when too close to the water?
boformer  [yaratıcı] 20 May 2017 @ 18:24
probably
BillyShabindigo 20 May 2017 @ 16:56

Is this mod longer needed with your new mod?
BloodyPenguin 12 Oca 2016 @ 11:45
@Ennedi @boformer Latest version of Prop Anarchy features tree anarchy too
boformer  [yaratıcı] 10 Oca 2016 @ 15:22
Awesome!
Ennedi 10 Oca 2016 @ 14:16
I'd like to confirm that your No Water Check Mod and Prop Anarchy are compatible. All their facilities work properly, so it is possible to use them together :)
Ennedi 8 Oca 2016 @ 15:53
OK, I will check it and inform you here. Both mods are good and useful, their scope of activity is partially the same (both of them enable placing props on water), but other functionalities are different (your mod enables placing trees on water, Prop Anarchy doesn't do it, but it enables placing props on roads or inside the area posessed by the asset).
If these mods simply overwrite some of game parameters, it is possible the user will be able to make use of all these functionalities (placing trees on water will be made by the mod which is loaded later, but the user will not see any difference). Other features of the first loaded mod will not be overwritten and it will be still possible to use them. There is no risk of crash in that case. But if any of these mods works in another way, the situation will be different. So I will check it as I said. Thank you boformer for a quick reply! :)
boformer  [yaratıcı] 8 Oca 2016 @ 15:06
no idea. try it. i don't think that it will conflict
Ennedi 8 Oca 2016 @ 8:46
What about the compatibility with the Ptop Anarchy mod?
kreaturen 6 Ara 2015 @ 2:45
Awesome! Thank you so much... Couldn't remember the word "slope", so haven't been able to find it myself :) (Steam search engine is not very good at guessing what I really want to be honest :P)
kreaturen 5 Ara 2015 @ 11:33
Hey, is there a similar check for steep terrain? It annoys me quite a bit that I can't paint forrest on slightly steep hills.
Meteor Daddy 1 Ara 2015 @ 17:01
I hope someday we can get rid of that orange and withered tree. Why would a tree wither if it's near a water source?
MrMiyagi 25 Kas 2015 @ 6:11
Okeedoke, thanks for looking into that. :steamhappy: I don't understand the computery language stuff on that screen (lol) so I will share it with TPB if he has time to look at it.
boformer  [yaratıcı] 24 Kas 2015 @ 12:13
Here is a screenshot of that texture: http://i.imgur.com/NUm94rn.jpg

blue is water,
cyan is water+sand
violet is fertile land
etc.
boformer  [yaratıcı] 24 Kas 2015 @ 12:04
I checked what causes the color. It is directly caused by a texture that is sent to the rendering pipeline (different colors for pollution, fertility, water etc.).

This texture could be modifed to remove the effect caused by the water.
MrMiyagi 24 Kas 2015 @ 9:09
Sure! Thanks for looking at that. Voila, we are at Tuesday. No rush, hardly an emergency :)
boformer  [yaratıcı] 22 Kas 2015 @ 6:20
I will check what causes the color. Can You remind me with a comment on Tuesday?
MrMiyagi 22 Kas 2015 @ 5:27
This is a great mod, the only thing I wonder is if there's a way to also stop the trees from turning to dying colors and losing some of their leaves. It still happens even though we can place them near water where it would usually say "cannot place in water". It makes making plants close to shore and on thin strips of land still result in pretty ugly plants. The only ones that don't do this are Breeze's roses. I wonder if it has to do with how the trees are created...
Alex 18 Kas 2015 @ 18:11
This mod looks like it would be great for making lakes and streams into swamps and bayous.
boformer  [yaratıcı] 17 Kas 2015 @ 4:06
I think it also works for buildings ;)
olooriel 17 Kas 2015 @ 1:17
Ah, so this is only for props and trees? I was hoping it would fix my problem with placing the canal side park assets, but I guess it won't?
