Larger Footprints is no longer supported, will you be updating this?

With the larger foot prints mod not being maintained anymore, will you move onto sub building enabler? This is an awesome asset that I wish would be updated for my use!

As far as I know, they will add some form of Larger Footprints in the future, no idea about the size limits or any other details currently tho.

@ravenz
Thanks for explanation :)
I wonder why they implemented it the way it's now and not added any form of bigger footprint by default

What I meant is that for example, the default nuclear power station in game is very small compared to real life nuclear plants. Some trees in game are as tall as the game's nuclear plants cooling towers. Would have to be pretty tall trees in real life if they reached such heights as the cooling towers. I do know some ppl prefer assets to be scaled to fit the game but I'm not one of those. The first set of buildings I released here are huge because they are supposed to be landmarks/monumental buildings like they are in real life in the real city I live in. If I scaled them by the games measurements, they'd be pretty small. Later I re-released them, scaled down but still fairly large, for those ppl who want them to be smaller. The last parts of this post are somewhat irrelevant to your post @0ilCom but just for those wondering why they are so huge ^^

@ravenz
You said "that is because the game doesnt have real life scale to size on buildings "
but if it has exact sizes in m, what is the problem then? I don't quite understand :o

Did you enable Larger Footprints in content manager on the game main menu? or what error are you getting?

Well why all assets with larger footprints broke for me? Any ideas?
Realname 8 Oct, 2015 @ 8:35pm
Just perfect!

@0liCom, I know that, what about it?

1 field equals 8x8m

Thanks for the comments :) @eaz001 that is because the game doesnt have real life scale to size on buildings but I'm planning on releasing all my buildings in smaller size versions later today - not sure if 50% smaller but atleast small enough so they do not require extra content to be downloaded

Hi, I tried this out, plopped only this piece and had a look-see. You made a very nice model and it is an excellent idea to make a big complex that combines forestry and industry, but the scale is just enormous. I plopped just this one piece next to a nuclear power plant, with those huge concrete condensing towers, and it's far bigger than that.

If you reduced the scale by 50% or so, you would have a great asset that fits in with all the rest.
