Has anyone else had a problem with this where you can't connect roads to it (as if there are hidden objects - "space already occupied") - it doesn't happen every time I use this but it does happen regularly. I've actually deleted the 6 lane road segment then tried to re-lay it and it also gives this error (thank goodness for undo). Thoughts?

Works perfectly! Love the fact that you added some trees and more then enough pathways as well! Thanks!
Katalepsis  [author] 1 Jun, 2019 @ 2:44am
because it doesnt fit in asset editor area and when i made this there was no way to build outside of area
vinniethelad 17 Apr, 2019 @ 8:30pm
why cant it be just one big thing so like... no extra work
Katalepsis  [author] 16 Nov, 2018 @ 3:35pm
Yeah they moved them to somewhere else in one of the updates I think... been ages since I made these videos.
PMDG787 15 Nov, 2018 @ 10:12am
I dont even have pedestrian roads in landscape menu...
wowjames3 25 Nov, 2017 @ 6:36pm
very nice layout. Could use outer ring for commercial (to prevent trucks from going into inner circle), middle ring for office, and inner ring for residential.

I actually have been playing with this asset and love it. Sometimes I make it an oval by extending 60 grids of straight roads between 2 half circles. Really eats the space and functions well with High density zoning. Highway connections on both ends helps I think. I use the regular paved paths to fill out the missing ones. The oval variation leaves a really nice central area to put things like the university and parks and special buildings with paths for everyone to walk by it all.
Ubereil 6 Feb, 2017 @ 12:43pm
Ah! Now I found it too! Thanks!
Banga 6 Feb, 2017 @ 11:18am
Yes i found it saturday. you need to go in the landscap tool menu not in the road menu :)
Katalepsis  [author] 6 Feb, 2017 @ 10:36am
It works for me, just tested it.
The pedestrian paths were moved to the Landscaping and Disasters menu (One with little shovel icon) in one of the updates.
Ubereil 5 Feb, 2017 @ 2:38am
I just watched the turtorial (it's not perfectly obvious you need to do that but apparently you do) and in the tutorial you use roads from the parks and plazas menu to connect the pedestrian roads. It turns out I don't have any roads in the parks and plazas menu (in fact, it turned out all my pedestrian roads came from a mod and were placed among the ordinary roads). Do you happen to know from where these pedestrian roads come?
Ubereil 5 Feb, 2017 @ 2:25am
I have the same problem as CarenneSUPERGIRL - it's impossible to connect to the pedestrian roads in the asset for some reason. When I tried to build it manually I noticed that the road I built and the one in the asset was slightly out of sync - my pedestrian road was like 25 % to the right compared to the asset road. I can't even connect straight roads. This is a real shame because building pedestrian roads to the block next to it would be really natural.

I notice in the images above that the pedestian roads ends at the outside of the outter road. It doesn't do that when I build it in the actual game. Why is that? Did you remove that part?
Banga 4 Feb, 2017 @ 7:32am
Ok im gonna try, thx !
Katalepsis  [author] 4 Feb, 2017 @ 7:17am
No, its just the normal pedestrian path from the game, make sure you elevate it at least 9 meters to go over roads
Banga 4 Feb, 2017 @ 6:57am
i cant find ur the pedestrian u're using. Is it from workshop too ?
When i try to add some on the ring it shows me that it'll destroy yours.
Katalepsis  [author] 1 Jan, 2017 @ 11:21am
First of all, if you don't like it, no one is forcing you to use it. Second, if you had watched the video I took the trouble of making.... you'd have learned that the connecting roads are made by the user, once you place down the 4 pieces you're supposed to lay down roads to connect it. If you take the time to download something, the least you can do is watch the provided instructions on how to use it before complaining.
DestroyAllFlashlights 21 Dec, 2016 @ 2:55pm
This isn'tt very useful, especially since there's only rings, no straight roads to connect them.
Seanow 8 Dec, 2015 @ 2:13pm
looks very nice but it isnt very practical. :/
Enila 25 Aug, 2015 @ 2:17pm
Merci :)

Thanks for letting me know tizubythefizo, I've reported it! Cheers.

Looks like someone's stolen your work and posted it as their own:

simpledeeshuai 16 Aug, 2015 @ 1:01pm
this circular was seperated into 2 rings. question is how to deal with public servcie like garbage for inner ring
Commissioner Jean Claude Van Dan 11 Aug, 2015 @ 10:31am
vesus project?
maobe 29 Jul, 2015 @ 11:13am
it can be a nice core for the start of a new cityproject. need lots of space, no place for parks! recommend 2 tile parking places or gapfillers, cause the circle creates lots of broken up zones where you could place small items
TheKillerdeouf 18 Jul, 2015 @ 4:28am
Good job ;)
Professor Hardknocks 26 Jun, 2015 @ 5:06am
Did you make a V3? I have one that is listed as V3.

A tooltip icon would be wonderful.
Professor Hardknocks 22 Jun, 2015 @ 3:18am
I place my services outside of the circle on the incoming road. I use the circle for only residential. Otherwise, commercial/industrial to commercial traffic just eats the roads.
Rogue 22 Apr, 2015 @ 1:14pm
thats more like it the space between roads is a nice 480, thanks.
Turkey Bacon Bravo 15 Apr, 2015 @ 5:25am
Hey TPB, no worries! Looking forward!!!
Katalepsis  [author] 14 Apr, 2015 @ 10:28pm
Hey guys im really sorry but I've become really absorbed with some modelling tutorials, it will be worth it! For placing services... you can find the best spots quite easily if you just try different spots around the circle first, on a blank version you can plop somewhere just for this purpose. I'll try to get that guide done though, but right now im immersed in this modelling business. Sorry.
Katalepsis  [author] 13 Apr, 2015 @ 9:39am
oops, no I havent, been doing some guide writing for the benefit of us all, please forgive me.. I tend to forget stuff, and thansk for the reminder. I'll do it today!
michelbien 13 Apr, 2015 @ 5:56am
hey @TPB, have you made the service placement screenshots yet?? thnx Michel
Turkey Bacon Bravo 9 Apr, 2015 @ 7:02am
@TPB: thank you for your reply! I understand. I think your modular design will spark many more to come. In any case, I look forward to your video tutorial on how to place services. Thank you once again!
Katalepsis  [author] 7 Apr, 2015 @ 3:53pm
Hey all, sorry I have the screenshots to make it but still haven't gotten around to it. I hope to get it done before this weekend. Thank you for your patience.
Korgi 7 Apr, 2015 @ 12:35pm
Could you possible make straight and corner versions as well? I love the idea but I want to make a oval :3
Predacrok 7 Apr, 2015 @ 11:59am
Hi TPB, did you do the guide for service placement efficiency ?
Thanks,
Predacrok
Sheppard 5 Apr, 2015 @ 7:13pm
Thanks for this! Traffic is still working at 6k population. I really like this design, though I had to redo some of the pedestrian walkways when I tried to place some of the bigger buildings, like high schools, somewhere other than the outermost circle outside the town. Looking forward to reading the service placement efficiency guide.
Katalepsis  [author] 4 Apr, 2015 @ 8:34pm
Glad you liked it, and thats great news about the traffic. Nonetheless I'm still making a little guide for service placement efficiency. Check back in the next days if interested.
Invictus Red 4 Apr, 2015 @ 7:18pm
Love it! Two-way streets haven't effected my traffic so far and made accessing utilities that much easier.
Katalepsis  [author] 4 Apr, 2015 @ 12:47pm
@zephyr passing - The problem is you are trying to place your services on the wrong places. There are spots that give access to all area more than others. Give me a few minutes, I'll make a little image tutorial on ideal service placement. And about your question, I have no idea but I suspect it would be terrible for traffic.
Turkey Bacon Bravo 4 Apr, 2015 @ 3:23am
ITs a fantastic design, well planned and executed. Just one comment, that its not exactly city services friendly - coverage area of most services (i.e. fire/police) will not reach its maximum potential with the one-way roads.

Question to TPB (author): will changing the one-way 6 lane roads to two way 6 lane roads create problems?
<Blasc> 2 Apr, 2015 @ 10:35pm
Perfekter Modularer Circle, Danke
Stev 1 Apr, 2015 @ 7:12am
perfect, thx
Katalepsis  [author] 31 Mar, 2015 @ 1:29pm
Glad you like it : ) I'll consider that, it might help get it more downloads : )
Tranquil Chewy 31 Mar, 2015 @ 9:50am
Beautiful... if I was you (just because it reminds me of it) rename it to Atlantis something, I might be using it because I actually wanted to do something like this... nice work.
Katalepsis  [author] 30 Mar, 2015 @ 4:30pm
@Thadian

Mainly because two one-way roads intersections are much more fluid, traffic lights have only 2 phases instead of 4. And this way you'll see pretty much the whole thing get road usage, since they wont be able to turn around and go back on the same road.

Than being said, it's very much experimental, as I haven't really actually played with it at all. It's all based on theory. So yeah, let me know if it works, if traffic is good, etc. :)
Professor Hardknocks 30 Mar, 2015 @ 2:58pm
Wonderful. I will be using this a lot. I like the full setup.

Why six-lane one-ways? Why not normal six-lane? Still learning. ;)
Katalepsis  [author] 29 Mar, 2015 @ 10:55pm
One of the quarter-circle roads becomes three sections when you make it, one of the smallest ones. take straight road tool and start from the two joining points of these three sections, going outward making sure to be snapped to the right angle. Sometime you have to rectify by going to ground view and checking that it's straight :)
Peperry 29 Mar, 2015 @ 9:57pm
nice, how you trisect the angle?
