With AWACS I can fire upon the target 90nm away but with the SPY-1 or similar other radars on US ships I can't fire an SM-2 I can only track them, which is odd since I can fire an AIM-54 Sea Phoenix though.
Do you have an AWACS up when trying to launch the SM-2s? Because if not, its because the target is beyond the horizon of the ship's radar.
Cause I can say with absolute certainty that I have fired SM-2s on enemy aircraft that were 90nm away from the ship, and the ship that fired them was from this mod.
R-33As are losing connection to their launch platform the second they launch, making them useless.
It does not add a campaign, or change any scenarios in any way.

Tested with Sealing the Strait mission. All the way to 90.2nm, British FCR can guide against low-flying aircraft at ~100-200ft, while SM-2ER cannot do this in vanilla game nor NTU as its FCRs are subject to horizon limitation.
The missile itself will even fly at very low altitude for extensive period of time after launch beyond the horizon and will still be linked to its launching ship.
Lovely work.
