in the Weapons.sbc i added <DamageMultiplier>500</DamageMultiplier>
<RangeMultiplier>1000.0</RangeMultiplier> it seems to do a lot of damage

A wonderful mod. Only suggestion is to either add a rifle version to this or create a separate mod that is the Phaser Rifle. I'd also like to ask how mods made with Blender are made?

Great mod. I think it would be cool to see something like this, but with a shorter range. It would be like a glass cutter to make boarding ships easier and more fun.

HashtagMC: if you ment the G menu, you have to make it in an assembler first, even if you are on creative... Otherwise you could just spawn it in with the object spawn menu (shift+F10 I think). :)

The mod doesn't work for me. I created a new world, added this mod to the modlist, but when I open the toolbar config and search for 'Phaser' or 'DK' I can't find anything.

Other mods used: M4Sanchin and DK Bowcaster

So, I just got this mod, made the phaser, made ten ammo cells - and have all in my inventory - but for whatever reason, it won't load the phaser with a power cell. Even having ten cells in my inventory, it tells me "Rifle is out of Ammo". How the hell do I load it?

@endromida I wanted to add different power settings but in order to have one weapon do differrent amounts of damage it looks like I would have to make a new "ammo" (power cell) for each setting. If they ever make it possible to have different damage settings using the same power cell (but consumed at a different rate) then I will definitely add that to this mod.

Yes. As far as I know there is no way to add to the starting items in creative. Some of the other weapon mods replace the normal rifle so you get it right away in creative. The problem with this is that it only allows one weapon (modded or vanilla) to be active at a time.

@Frinth Same way you get the normal rifle. You have to build it at an assembler and then when it is in your inventory it will show up in the weapons/tools tab of the g menu.

How do you access it in game? all I see is an empty tab in the (g) menu. Is this a bug?

@BlackFish Strange. So this only happens on dedicated servers right? I only play private/friends worlds so I am not able to troubleshoot this properly. I don't understand why it would be any different on a dedicated server but if anyone can figure out what is causing the issue I would be happy to try and fix it.

At first i thought it was the star trek ship phaser mod but it wasnt, just by having this mod installed it causes the 25 cm, 8.8 cm's, autocannons and the scattergun to cause ear rape static noise when they fire. I honestly cant say why it does this but it does. Removing this mod seemed to solve the issue. Many DS have this issue too.

@BlackFish I am unable to reproduce the issue you are reporting. When does it make the static noise? When the other mod's ship weapons are firing? When my phaser is firing? All the time? Specifically which mod is it conflicting with? I tried all of the csd weapons and they seemed to work fine with my mod. I can't think of anything in my mod's files that would be causing your issue but if I can find a way to reproduce it I might be able to fix it.

Thank you for all the positive comments everyone, they make me want to create more mods and improve my current mods.
In the most recent update I have changed the weapon placement while walking/running. It should no longer shoot into the ground while moving.

Btw, you may be able to work or advise with 'aaagamer' to make trek weapons from large ship weapons. He seemed to be interested in that project too.
