Find planet
Complete archaeology site and say you will help the core.
Contingency Core can then be contacted through your contacts screen.
In order to change leader focus you need to complete the planet decision to fix the planet. The core will tell you this.
Once you complete that decision, you will get a leader recruitment window for the core to recruit them as a standard leader.
You will still have the ability to contact the core through the contacts window. Now there are some new options.
One of those options is for it to change leader class.
To go any further, as it will tell you, you need to take the Contingency Ascension Perk, which is to embark on the path to becoming the contingency

Ok thanks. I will try to replicate. In theory because the origin change was managed it should have done the flip, but shroud forged weird case has caused it to error out.

You can hilariously try both transforms: If you open up your empire screen then open the console and type:
event condan_transform.200

That will trigger the transform to determined exterminator for a machine intelligence.

event condan_transform.100

will trigger it for a non machine intelligence. Honestly I am not sure which one will work better for you. It might be best to run 100 and see what you end up with, then try running 200.

I will need enough time to play through a shroud forged origin and figure out exactly what is going on and why it is breaking. It was never designed to deal with a harmonious species that is both machine and non machine as that wasn't a thing before 4.1.

I finish psychic ascension before start situation and then my main species is now Mechanical not Machine intelligence, and my origin change to Prosperous Unification.

Much more helpful, and also extremely weird.
Important follow up questions:
How far through were you with Chosen of the Shroud? Had you gone all psionic? Did you still have a machine intelligence and was it your dominant species or had you switched to the psionically awake ones?
Did your origin change to Prosperous Unification? (I change it to PU in order to make the government switch work)
Do you have anything in the error log?

The game with your mod run smoothly until the situation finished my Empire won't change civic so I can't progress the Crisis to Lv2 coz it's demand to be Exterminator.

current'y my empire are machines gesalt, Shroud-Forged orgin, Civic are Tactic algorhtm, Spyware Directives, Unitary Cohesion also with newly Transcendent Mainframe government.

Please tell me what type of empire, what civic, what origin and what happened. The more detail you provide the more likely I am to be able to develop a fix.

@iK I have no idea what is happening there, my mod does not delete hyperlanes at all, only adds them.

Also game_start.70 is not my code, that is vanilla. All of my code has "condan" in the name.

Ok, went into observer mode, the system exists it just isn't connected to either of us in any way. The command deleted 30% of all hyperlanes in the galaxy though. We did find a path to the system, that is only like 20-30 systems away, and luckily no AI in the way. So, we are just going to speedrun there.

Me and a friend are playing multiplayer, and neither of us are getting the event. I looked through the comments and saw the code of "event game_start.70 0" and tried that, did not work.

I totally forgot about this, apologies. It seems the issue may have been coming from the UI overhaul mod ive been using. Turning that off fixed the crashing issue.

Looks like this mod doesnt currently work at all, or atleast for me. It crashes as soon as the planet is colonized. Doesnt show the option to interact with the NPC on 4.0.22. All previous versions it works until you colonize the planet.

Hello Draconas, one of my mod users requested compatibility with your mod, is it possible that you add a scripted variable for your mod? It could be named anything that you'd like, this variable is useful for parsing, particularly for inline scripts.

Ok, I was able to work on it this weekend and have updated to 4.0

This was A LOT of work. Just to make the mod run and not hard crash Stellaris, and hard-crash the crash reporter.

I have run through the major paths and checked that it is working, there are probably weird edge cases I have not found. event purging appears to be broken in vanilla because of how pop groups operate.

If you have weird ♥♥♥♥, then please report, but i may need a savegame to figure it out. It took me 4 hours to work out that crisis activation was hard crashing the game because they changed how the remove_all_districts script works.

Yeah I've not done a 4.0 update yet.

I am holding off until 4.0 is more settled and stable - we are currently getting 3 patches a week.

For delays, honestly I have forgotten as there were a lot of changes between this version and the original version. There is an element of rng with timers.

Not taking the perk is basically playing with fire, the core is a single issue character, if you are not doing what it wants, it will get unhappy.

Further as has been commented, building sufficient crisis points in the late game is actually quite hard. Unlike nemesis you get no points for vassals, the core cares only for killing.
