I hope you do one with synthetics one day as well! But if not, keep it up with the good work, you're a saint.
DamnDirtyCat  [author] 10 Sep @ 12:31pm
This loss of fur around the ear is intentional, representing a fuller cybernetization of the upper head area.
Kamisori 10 Sep @ 12:22pm
on the cat mammal.. the cyborg version has fur on its ear but the synthetic version loses the fur on the ear when the eye piece comes in.

Is this mod compatible with CyberneticHumansExpanded?
SUPER-CEP 30 Aug @ 1:13pm
And what do you think about compatibility with Dimorphism+SF?

Wonderful purpose and even better execution
Zoren 10 Aug @ 5:28am
this mod is definitely a must if you have The Machine Age, you're doing what the devs didn't do, and honestly, Idc how long this mod will take to be finished, I'm glad someone did this
DamnDirtyCat  [author] 9 Aug @ 8:36am
Fresh update with 2 avian portraits complete! Preview pictures have been updated accordingly.

Another great addition to a great game!
DiceDexter 3 Aug @ 11:18pm
I made a Compatibility Patch for the most up-to-date Dimorphism Pack if anyone is interested :)
Odin 1 Aug @ 3:50pm
OMG You already did the spider portraits??? Thank you! Those are my favorite in the game.
Jorgin™ 19 Jul @ 10:35am
Do you have any plans of doing it with overlord human portraits?
Average Ligurian 18 Jul @ 7:38am

Zoren 14 Jul @ 7:45pm

hey could i get fungoid slender 01?
DamnDirtyCat  [author] 10 Jul @ 12:48pm
You are not the only one having this problem. I forced a reupload on the files today, no idea why this is happening. Two potential fixes I was able to find:

1) Verify the integrity of your Stellaris files. Right-click on Stellaris in your Library, click Properties, then Installed Files, then Verify Integrity of Game Files. This might force the mod to update.

2) If that doesn't work, go into your C:\Users\(Your Name)\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod folder and delete the files named 'ugc_3274615398'. You may also have to delete the 'ugc_3276071165' and 'ugc_3277397813' files if you're using my Psionization and/or Compatibility mods. Verify the integrity of your Stellaris files as in step 1, and this should fully force the mod to update.

I appreciate you letting me know about this. As far as I can tell, the version here on Steam matches the version on my disk and should have the Avian Massive #11 and Molluscoid #17 cybernetization stages. It may be Steam downloads doing funky things, I recommend unsubscribing from the mod, waiting a minute, and then resubscribing to the mod. If they are still missing from your game, please let me know, and again, thanks for letting me know about this issue.
Lotl 10 Jul @ 4:59am
so uhm I was rummaging through your mod's files and Vanilla Avian Massive #11 Stage 1 & 2
Vanilla Molluscoid #17 (Starfish) Stage 1 & 2 do not exist
did you forget to transfer the files there?
DamnDirtyCat  [author] 9 Jul @ 9:21am
@casdnova Thank you! In terms of process, I have to draw each evolution, convert them to .dds, and clean them up so they don't have awkward pixels showing up in game. After a few rounds of touch-ups to make the images look better in-game, I add the code to the mod and bugtest. Finally, I merge the code into the compatibility patch and do a final round of bugtesting.

I used to do the drawing, coding, and bugtesting stages twice (separately for each mod) but going forward I'm going to work on the same portraits so I only need to do each stage once.
Col. Hathi 8 Jul @ 11:34pm
Shame ^^ But understandable. Hope you get to the cute little frog guys soon.
casdnova 8 Jul @ 11:27pm
Hey I just want to say youre doing a great job! whats your process like for working on this and psi mod at the same time
DamnDirtyCat  [author] 8 Jul @ 7:11am
Unfortunately, I have no plans to make this compatible with any Dimorphism mod. Maybe in the future I'll contact some of the mod creators to ask permission, but at the moment I still have dozens and dozens of vanilla portraits I need to get through.
Col. Hathi 8 Jul @ 3:04am
@Milamber I was just about to ask the same ^^ Or if there would be made any compatibility between them?
Milamber 8 Jul @ 2:37am
I guess this won't be compatible with the Dimorphism mod? - https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1801078404
DamnDirtyCat  [author] 7 Jul @ 10:09am
Great idea, I'll work on getting some images of the portraits up so no in-game guessing is required.
Lotl 6 Jul @ 6:19pm
Could you Include more images of the Cyborg portraits
DamnDirtyCat  [author] 6 Jul @ 5:52pm
I do intend to cyberize the vanilla humans.
Amadeus 5 Jul @ 4:11pm
Thank you for this work, will you cyberize the original vanilla humans? I personally prefer them over the new humans. Excited also to see how you approach the arthropoids
DamnDirtyCat  [author] 3 Jul @ 6:13pm
I will do Lithoids and the other species pack xenos in a separate mod, eventually. Right now, I'm focused on the Vanilla species classes: Humanoid, Mammalian, Reptilian, Avian, Arthropoid, Molluscoid, and Fungoid.
shockw0ve 3 Jul @ 6:01pm
You will be making cybernetic lithoids?
Lotl 2 Jul @ 6:23pm
thank you it's my favorite organic portrait
DamnDirtyCat  [author] 2 Jul @ 2:56pm
You're the second person to ask that, I'll move it up in priority!
Lotl 2 Jul @ 2:56pm
can you please do starfish next?
Kamisori 2 Jul @ 4:39am
oh nice! still in support <3 cant wait for the outcome! Shared mod with friends.

This will contain wholly original art and will not use AI or art from other mods. It's a project I'm doing for fun and art practice and it will absolutely take a long time. Clothing should stay completely intact, as the evolution layer appears to always be underneath clothing and accessories.
Kamisori 1 Jul @ 7:22am
This project will take sixty three weeks (1.21 years) if you do three a week, I'm in high support of this project but you will need to ask permission from other cyborg mods and use AI for newer designs, along with what you are already doing. You may also need a crew to do at least three a week. Good luck I plan on staying subscribed through the whole process. lol
also if you can please try keeping human clothes intact or something since I am using a Human clothing mod. anyway thanks!
DamnDirtyCat  [author] 1 Jul @ 6:48am
Hey Kathryn, I've just added a Ko-fi button if you want to donate. Your support is much appreciated! For those who want some swag instead, my website has stickers if you prefer to support me that way.
Hey op, this is awesome - I checked out your site but couldn't find any way to like, give you money directly (other than stickers that I personally don't have a use for), do you have a ko-fe or something?
Karnak 30 Jun @ 9:22pm
@DamnDirtyCat Damn. Amazing mate ;)
Odin 30 Jun @ 8:12pm
This will be a tough project to keep relevant. Tahnks for the hard work :)
docblue102 30 Jun @ 4:55pm
can you do the weird slime fungoid
Moose 30 Jun @ 1:37pm
This should have been in the DLC from the start. Thank you!
DamnDirtyCat  [author] 30 Jun @ 11:51am
Yes! I plan to make 1-3 portraits weekly until I've finished all vanilla portraits.
Karnak 30 Jun @ 5:35am
Will you plan to do more base creatures ?
