especially those on conveyor access points i see still as something functionally useful, maybe one of the conveyor mods would take this into consideration for their mods
Solraven 27 Dec, 2022 @ 12:36am
wish someone would fix this...
laserRAYgun 18 Aug, 2022 @ 4:07pm
Crashes. I keep doing it over and over because I forget and I really like this mod.
NightOwlModeler 6 Feb, 2022 @ 9:39pm
Yeah, broken, can't even place the blocks now without game crashing. Sad.
Gamezdude 5 Dec, 2021 @ 7:55am
Mod still works for me. Note, the grid MUST be powered.
Additionally, you must follow the guidelines for Large/Small conveyors.
Star 28 Mar, 2021 @ 10:40am
Mod broken / abandoned, Do not use.
S.S.Mogeko 31 May, 2019 @ 3:42pm
Please Update if you can~
thif47 30 Oct, 2018 @ 11:44am
Please add large blocks
Razor 21 Apr, 2018 @ 4:39pm
Any chance you might update this and also want to include small conveyor tube size connectors? Mini ones that worked would be amazing! just for transfering ore and fuel.
AprilsRealm 8 Feb, 2018 @ 2:40pm
this mod no longer works
frogit04 4 Sep, 2017 @ 12:29pm
does this mod still work?
drmskr 17 Jul, 2017 @ 2:41pm
Hey, Any chance you can make Weld on Ship Tools? Drill, Welder, Grinder? Weld them onto an existing conveyor or other port... Would be nice to put a conveyor or cargo container in the corner and have three drills attached to it.
Azirahael 9 Feb, 2017 @ 10:27am
This has the weird side effect of turning existing large grid connectors into small grid sized ones.
With a tiny connector in the centre.
Sabrewulf 1 Feb, 2017 @ 4:29pm
Please make a hinge with a lateral connector part, for connect to land vehicles with different heights.
NotATomato 27 Dec, 2016 @ 2:12pm
Hi, any chance you could get a large ship variant for this? also what is the difference between the s an d the l suffix on blocks?
Auntie Fester 25 Dec, 2016 @ 10:45am
I kinda never really found use for this mod at first, it just seemed to basically be a different version of the Extended Connectors mod, and I tried to use it as such with less than effective results.

But! Now that we have planets, and you can more readily build simple single block/single digit grids like a lone cargo container on it's own in your base without it trying to snap to your grid, I've realized this is actually a very excellent mod for modular systems! Think drop-pod batteries and cargo containers (as the example images that I never looked at in depth before display). Swap discharged batteries for your small vehicles in exchange for fresh ones, deposit external containers of ore instead of trying to include bulky cargo storage inside your mining drones!

It's amazing how stoping to READ and THINK will benefit you.

Hi Harag! I'm trying your addon for Blender to make my own models for SE, but I got some problems. I installed it correctly just like you documentation of your addon shows, but the buttons for the mod (like making a Space Engineers Grid) are not enlighted/I simply can't click them.
I know I shouldn't post a bug report here, but just in case this is what I got from the Python console when executing the script for creating a grid via console:

>>> bpy.ops.view3d.spceng_setup_grid()
Error: Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\Users\Ruben\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.77\scripts\addons\space_engineers\operators.py", line 470, in execute
space.grid_scale = 1.25
AttributeError: 'SpaceConsole' object has no attribute 'grid_scale'

location: C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.77\scripts\modules\bpy\ops.py:189

Thanks in advance!

So these function as connectors, and can pass items through them to other connectors? I always thought they couldn't because I saw no ports on the back!
Gonz.0 27 Mar, 2016 @ 2:42pm
Harag, I would like to make a suggestion. They are just a bit TOO compact. While I fully agree with everything you did with this, I believe the softdock ring should be about twice the size to provid proper softdock. I think this will help a lot with the way it looks as it's connected as well. As it stands, the models are very far apart while still 'locked'. Constructive criticism from a fan, trust me, that is what it is meant to be. Thank you for your work.
XandreBlues 20 Mar, 2016 @ 6:00pm
this mod answers the question:steamhappy:, "do I grind down that battery, or... do I add a connector and save the cell?"
Sweet! Can't wait to try it out.
VS-lockon 19 Mar, 2016 @ 11:24am

Gonz.0 14 Mar, 2016 @ 12:32am
Standard connectors have a capacity and can be used to add storage capacity. Since these are lower profile, should these have 0 capacity?
Stigm4t4 9 Mar, 2016 @ 4:24pm
+1
Gonz.0 26 Feb, 2016 @ 10:31pm
Recently discovered these, and am in agreement. This should be a standard vanilla item.
NeoAcario 26 Jan, 2016 @ 5:16pm
DK version has large grid... but these are so much better. I don't even mind using the standard large ship connector with these.
Lord 20 Dec, 2015 @ 9:56am
Automatic upvote for Github+source. This should be the standard.
Drayst 18 Dec, 2015 @ 11:51am
This mod for large grids would be wonderful.

Really good work.
Kitty La-Führer 9 Dec, 2015 @ 11:02am
plz Make for Large Grids love your mod
dRuPpI 23 Nov, 2015 @ 11:49am
yeah please make them also for large ships
J0K3R6397 23 Nov, 2015 @ 11:02am
Can you include a copy for large grids? That would be awesome!
Harag  [author] 23 Nov, 2015 @ 10:34am
These are only available as small blocks. Stations are made out of large blocks.
dRuPpI 23 Nov, 2015 @ 7:50am
hi ... when i want to put a connector on a station it says "not available for station" that isn't intended!? or is it?
J0K3R6397 22 Nov, 2015 @ 11:21am
Ahh yup. I derped. It's working now :)
Harag  [author] 22 Nov, 2015 @ 5:12am
Is your small grid powered?
J0K3R6397 22 Nov, 2015 @ 2:42am
Tried every way possible, and they do not convey items for me. Placed all 4 types on top of both large and small ports on all types of cargo containers, and was not able to move or retrieve items from said cargo container to my character or vice versa.
Harag  [author] 22 Nov, 2015 @ 12:25am
They do convey items. Think of it as building these blocks over a conveyor port to turn it into a connector.
J0K3R6397 21 Nov, 2015 @ 7:51pm
So... these are not used for conveying items? I don't see any ports on the back (the face that you attach to other blocks)
Harag  [author] 26 Sep, 2015 @ 2:17am
Thank's for the info.
SEModder4  [developer] 25 Sep, 2015 @ 12:00pm
@Harag,

Hey as of the last update for Space Engineers, Keen changed the Definition tag which removes the collectors from ships as they cannot be placed due to that error.
Lathy...or is it 20 Sep, 2015 @ 5:36pm
Could we get these for large grids? That's where they are most needed, IMO.
KitsuneKas 16 Sep, 2015 @ 11:01am
DX11 update! Yay!

You should add DX11 to either the title or the description so that people know it is DX11.
Sasquatch 4 Jun, 2015 @ 8:38am
Understand thanks for the update
Harag  [author] 4 Jun, 2015 @ 8:10am
Yes, but they are not that far up on my priority list.
Sasquatch 3 Jun, 2015 @ 8:42am
Do you have any plans to update these to DX11?
Psyckosama 21 Apr, 2015 @ 7:41am
Please consider a large ship version of this. One that's no larger than a piston head would be GREAT for fully retractable connectors.
NeoAcario 18 Feb, 2015 @ 1:57am
I just want to say "great job!" These things are amazing for my minimalist combat drones. They can now easily fly down corridors!
Harag  [author] 14 Feb, 2015 @ 9:21am
The limitation of small conveyors applies generally. So you are right, using these conveyors will not change that.
NeoAcario 13 Feb, 2015 @ 9:21pm
I'm guessing the S variants attatched by a small converyor slot wll not allow large items to pass through
Maegil 22 Jan, 2015 @ 6:17am
This is one of my core mods, now.

Could you possibly make a large ship version, and a complete set for small parts conveyors (small and large cubes)? This would just about solve every grid integration problem (as long as both sides remain powered, that is... wafer thin battery, anyone).
