There isn't an official patch for this mod as of yet. However, there is a fanmade patch on the Combat Extended discord.

Thank you for the well thought out review, Kingallhobos! I appreciate your deep dive into the balancing, the art and compatibility, your feedback is greatly appreciated. I do have a few answers to quarrels you came across in your review:

-The randomized colors of Ensign armor are a trait shared by all power armors, they should be able to be dyed with Tinctoria.

-The Sparksabre is much closer to the Monosword when it comes to balancing rather than the Plasmasword.

-I didn't split the research to not bloat the menu more than necessary.

Yes, it's to balance the cold insulation, wearing armor insulated against the cold would make it less usable in hotter environments.

Hello please add compatibility for Muzzle Flash mod that would be awesome! Just think how sick it would be to have these powerful guns put out muzzle flash while firing into the enemy!

@Mocho If you read the comments below Rimnaut 2, it seems still have compatibility issue even with SOS2. Not just this mod, but SOS2 base EVA suit doesnt work on Rimnaut 2 celestial bodies either.

I haven't dig into the code but IMO it should be the problem of Rimnaut 2 side, for the framework Universum is marked as WIP by the authors themselves and appear unstable

I'm not sure, I tested it before with a pawn equipped with the Ensign helmet + armor and they died from decompression when I had them walk outside a space station.

Yes, you wouldn't use this in SOS2 1.3 or 1.4.

If this is labeled 1.5, we have no indication of whether it works on 1.3 and 1.4 versions of SOS2.

In the future I will make Profane variants for the armor which will be a twist on the concept of Prestige armor, but made with Biioferrite. It'll be mainly for cultists.

Hey! I love this mod, the art is beautiful and I'm pretty happy with the balance, even more so that this is one of the few great armour mods with built in SOS2 compatibility! One suggestion though would be prestiege ensign armour, with some gold trim maybe? Something to designate special units or commanders.

@· 無名 · - Honestly I'd say it's mostly the vanilla charge rifle that looks a little too skinny for its design. I think the guns here look nice and beefy without being weirdly oversized.

Great mod. I love that effort was made to have the research blend seamlessly into the game.

The only feedback I have to give from my testing is that most of the guns look much larger compared to guns in the base game. Compare side by side pawns holding guns from Spacer Arsenal to a base game Charge Rifle or Chaingun.

The Sparksabre seems fine though, it's mainly the guns that stand out in terms of size.

New update: Added a new research, "Ensign Armor", now used for both the helmet and armor. Added Ensign Armor with tox protection and reduced weapon cooldown. The armor also has full SOS2 compatibility.. Added the Sparksabre, a new melee spacer weapon with the ability to stun enemies.

Played with these guns a bit now, love how these weapons are "more specialized" rather than "more OP". Exactly the content I appreciate. Also great graphics and sounds!
