Not sure if this is working anymore, with this mod (and GMESC) my game crashes with my playsets, but without them, they work.

civic center? Do you mean the capital barony of county? Since if so, Karyes is not the capital, it is Athos. Though I do get what you mean now, it seems that the Karyes should be the default capital rather than Athos

That’s intentional as it’s more accurate to the orientation of the period because the special building was historically in Karyes and not in “Athos”. The civic center should get the benefit of the building not the mountain itself. It’s kind of like farming on a volcano…not good…farming on the soil around the volcano…nice!

No, I mean in MPE the County of Agios Oros(Where Mt. Athos is) is made up of three Baronies: Athos, Hilandar, and Karyes. The special building is on Karyes barony which in the center, rather than the Athos barony which is at the end of the peninsula

Are you talking the graphics or the actual building? If so, you have a locator issue.

Otherwise, Athos is the name of the peninsula, Mt. Athos is the name of the mountain on the peninsula. Karyes is the name of the town in which the Athonite monastic community resides. The mountain isn’t the special building, the monastic community on the mountain in Karyes is the special building.

Those changes are intentional because either a) there’s another special building at the other location or b) it is more accurate.

Having the additional provinces available allows flexibility not available with vanilla.

Not sure if I report this here, but using MPE collection and I think I special building is misplaced. Aetna(the volcano in Sicily) is at Catania, and I believe Aderno would be closer to the map model

Having similar issues with the dejure duchy and kingdom set up being all kinds of weird especially in Byz and France. Any advice on game rules or is this just messed up?

Is this compatch working? I used the .json file to set the load order but the de jure titles are all messed up, the game is playable but it's annoying anyways... is this normal or a compatibility bug from me doing something wrong?

Probably best if you do, unless you manually want to compatch MPE.

I see some weird stuff happening with de jure titles around the map. Duchies often miss there de jure capital county as it belongs to some neighbouring duchy - especially in France and the Byzantinum. Did I mess up somewhere or is it the same for you?

Not a problem. There's no error...the whole line is commented out so it does it at game start and not after lobby. The comment out disregards the unbalanced bracket. You had me worried there for a second lol.

@cuomo860 Wait so does this mod require Super Compatch, Special World and MPE? In your comment you say it does but in the description you say it doesn't. "*This can also be used if you are not running my Super Compatch but are using these other mods."

Also, does this mod integrate More Culture Names? I use MPE (no MB+), Cultures Expanded, Historical Invasions, and RICE, but I don't use More Culture Names.

Can you explain what's the difference between this and a special world? This one makes my game crash on start. I play with MPE, CE and want to have the special buildings from the mods at a special world. RICE isn't updated yet, and neither is COW and Unique Building Plus, so what does this do?

Not sure what you're talking about. There's really nothing that changes anything per prowess point in here except for knights for balance. Can you be more specific?

I think this patch causes damage and toughness to go down per prowess point. Idk if it is intentional or not

FYI, this smaller map mod does work with this MPE compatch. Just load it after this mod, however, you will not get the cultural localizations and some of the rules for the formation of titles will be missing.

The MPE version now has Regional Names for locals courtesy of Sonus and the files from his Nomenclatura.

This is going to likely be my last update for a couple of days but I think I have the issue solved for the crashes when using Early Bookmarks. I'll need to slowly work on fixing the file that was causing an issue but it's running multiple years in observer mode.

MCN takes the landed titles files from MPE and adds the cultural names for each title. I don't touch landed titles files, hence, why there's a different version depending on which mods you are using because they all have different landed titles files. This is also why MCN has different versions.

I have nothing to do with that. I could, and I have in the past, added some of this stuff in, but the minute I do that and MPE updates, the compatibility will be broken.

Please stop asking about MCN compatibility on these compatches. I have nothing to do with it.

So the issue lies with MCN instead of MPE? Up top you wrote that SirSen needs to update his MPE files in order to be compatible.
