This may be a dumb question but, can you/are you going to make a version for garry's mod?

Yeah, this model was a complete mess when I started on it, overlapping mesh and intertwining faces that left holes through out the model, gaps around the windows, no uv seams for a map, and no semetry at all. The original model only had 32,000 verts (making it low-poly as it was) and when I deleted duplicate vertices I lost over 23,000 of those. I then had to go through it and fill in the resulting holes and kill off orphaned verts. For it being such a low-poly model it was a challenge to get it to this level.

I wanted to keep a more cartoony look to the aircraft yet have it identifialbe as a PL-12, so I think I more or less achieved what I was shooting for with this rendition. It would take a complete reconstruct to repair it to be sharper and look more real.

Placing the decals took forever because of the material stretching in the uv map. (One of the reasons I may take camo version out and replace it with a brownish thunderdomeish skin.)

To so you how low poly this is, the final blend exported for the entire model is only 13,340 verts.

Dio here is correct. The textures are a bit low-res. Aside from that, awesome!

very nice! though the textures appear a bit crushed, any plans to fix this or will it remain as it is?
