I think it just happens that the US in my mod is a fair deal stronger than in vanilla so they are more confident with justifying on Vichy France.
Gonna make an update on that
Both happened immediately after I as Royalist UK, and Germany, capitulated France in October 1940.
I have playtested the mod a lot on ahist as well and never has this problem.
Do give me more specific information on the date so I can investigate.
I.e., I tried to play as an Axis-aligned UK via the royalist path. No matter what however, Italy will always justify on me. If I make a non-aggression pact, it breaks it.
Now that is completely unexpected
I haven't had that issue so far

We know they can do it. That's how they avoid pushing Urals anyway
On one hand, we can absolutely have it die in 1938 then let Italy lives off it.
On the other hand, Italy AI just doesn't make good use of it at the moment. We don't yet have the code support to make it work.
Germany will not put collab on the Soviets until they are actually pushing the Soviets. It is actually not remotely worth it from modding perspective.
It is just not good for AI.
advisor to spain is collectively decided by main team that will not be prioritised. Just not worth it.
as for Japan and collab, we randomize it rn because they are still in testing phase. They might or might not die to China and it is very hard to make them consistently perform on the bigger scale at the moment.
French AI with planes is just AI breaking again. I am patching it.
Also why does the french ai build planes if they are also building tanks, building planes is useless for a tank build as france.
That was always the plan, so if they are not doing it, something must have broken down again

As for France.
Making AI attempt csc is a terrible idea. We have done it before.
But if you prefer it to be more consistent, just put DNZ into blocked. It is the tag for Danzig. That way everything else can work normally without any real issue.
Without enough of those, you cannot survive as Poland.

tbh we did have a big failed mod update yesterday, so it could have bugged. But otherwise that's actually on the weaker end for Poland. Poland players are much much stronger while my own AI can only achieve around 60%~80% of what they can do in term of macro.

1. Line Artillery may become extremely ineffective against a line of infantry because artillery is expensive, has low breakthrough, low org, and low HP. It is better defensively than it is offensively, which is not the point during Barb.
2. Your tanks will always be pierced by Soviet tanks and vice versa, so there is not too much in adding welded armor. You should keep tanks relatively cheap by using riveted.
3. It is extremely muddy in Eastern Europe up til June. Snow conditions usually end on the 11th of April (they really do), but if you have snow-spec ranger company, you may attack since the 1st of April once Deep Snow is no longer present.
