i like the fake gunports painted on the sides to deter pirates, as if there's anything worth stealing in the hold

Ah i see
mcsteve89  [author] 25 Apr @ 2:13pm
Did a poll in my server on whether to add the crates or not, at fist more people voted yes and I quickly uploaded it last night but by morning the votes shifted so I removed them
rotanev 25 Apr @ 2:11pm
Were the crates removed?
rotanev 25 Apr @ 10:22am
perhaps is a good enough sign for me lol
mcsteve89  [author] 25 Apr @ 8:41am
perhaps
rotanev 25 Apr @ 2:12am
You ever thought of building a NS Savannah-inspired ship? I think that'd be a cool project, since its still technically a steam vessel.

bote

Hey unbreakify wake up Carnarvon's been fixed
mcsteve89  [author] 19 Apr @ 3:44pm
I'll probably get to it after Exeter. Either way it won't be long since there's only 3 sinkable ships left to fix
rotanev 19 Apr @ 3:15pm
Hope this one gets fixed soon, this was my favourite ship to use before i took a break on SW.
rotanev 16 Apr @ 1:14pm
@Blox2007 i wonder why
Blox2007 1 Apr @ 1:08am
this ship looks familiar to another ship that sank in 1872 in western australia and who`s name is Greek for "Blonde"
JakeTheDude 24 Mar @ 7:23am
oof, will you fix this for 1.10.7?
Darcsins 8 Jul, 2023 @ 5:57pm
Thank you
mcsteve89  [author] 8 Jul, 2023 @ 4:09pm
Well with how it functions, it's basically just an impact sensor set to the lowest possible threshold to trigger, and with how you trigger it, you should be able to just ram the ship at midships and it will trigger, though there does seem to be multiple reports of it not always working...
Darcsins 8 Jul, 2023 @ 3:59pm
both
mcsteve89  [author] 7 Jul, 2023 @ 11:44pm
as in how it actually functions, or how you trigger it?
Darcsins 7 Jul, 2023 @ 10:14pm
how does the broadside impact work?
mcsteve89  [author] 29 Jun, 2023 @ 2:45pm
Yeah that's what I did with updating it
rotanev 29 Jun, 2023 @ 1:57pm
Yeah im talking about the first version; it still works against the titan going 13-14 knots. It might need to be more sensitive, maybe?
mcsteve89  [author] 29 Jun, 2023 @ 1:20pm
Oh, neat! I was going to just remove it but now I guess not
rotanev 29 Jun, 2023 @ 11:39am
It still works on my unupdated one!
rotanev 29 Jun, 2023 @ 11:38am
vv it sometimes works! i got it to sink against the titan once!
mcsteve89  [author] 21 Jun, 2023 @ 2:20pm
yeah, I think the collision based sink might be a fail...
JaseMcDougal 21 Jun, 2023 @ 1:42pm
when i put 3 in it didnt sink
Dunc813 18 Jun, 2023 @ 9:45am
ok thanks man
mcsteve89  [author] 18 Jun, 2023 @ 9:20am
sure
Dunc813 18 Jun, 2023 @ 7:01am
mcsteve is it ok if i use some of your microcontrollers from the ss pierre for a marconi wireless system? i dont have any plans on uploading it
rotanev 17 Jun, 2023 @ 2:23pm
vvv yea continuing this i did have issues with the ship beforehand guhhh now i gotta readd all my crap to the updated one.. cuh
rotanev 17 Jun, 2023 @ 2:23pm
must of been a stormworks bug, he just updated it
ezrad0405 17 Jun, 2023 @ 1:05pm
k
mcsteve89  [author] 17 Jun, 2023 @ 12:55pm
no...? it should just be able to split as soon as it's activated
ezrad0405 17 Jun, 2023 @ 12:46pm
does it take like minutes to set the ship up for ramming
mcsteve89  [author] 17 Jun, 2023 @ 12:44pm
that's weird, maybe it just happened to hit just right that time, and it was just coincidence?
ezrad0405 17 Jun, 2023 @ 12:42pm
i was not moving with the ship i just kept it on for maybe a extra explosion or something
mcsteve89  [author] 17 Jun, 2023 @ 12:42pm
Just updated it so hopefully it works better. Lowered the threshold to 1 ms and moved the sensor closer to where it breaks
mcsteve89  [author] 17 Jun, 2023 @ 12:41pm
As in like the ship is moving or just the boiler on or off? Because the boiler itself shouldn't change anything
ezrad0405 17 Jun, 2023 @ 12:39pm
i actually managed to break it in half when the boiler was not on but its not breaking in half with the boiler turned on
mcsteve89  [author] 17 Jun, 2023 @ 12:21pm
No, it uses an impact sensor set at 2 ms to activate it. I'm thinking maybe somethings gets a bit messed up with how the sensor is detecting the sudden change in movement and so I'll probably either have to lower the sensor down to 1 ms or just remove it
ezrad0405 17 Jun, 2023 @ 12:16pm
i used a ferry does it have to have a sharp bow to break it?
mcsteve89  [author] 17 Jun, 2023 @ 12:12pm
I'll see what's up
mcsteve89  [author] 17 Jun, 2023 @ 12:12pm
wait what
ezrad0405 17 Jun, 2023 @ 12:08pm
uh so i used the ram sinking and i had the boiler on and i hit it with a ship going like 20 knots and it still did not break
Engineer 17 Jun, 2023 @ 11:30am
how about it?
Engineer 14 Jun, 2023 @ 4:17pm
Steamship idea, smth that looks like the Portland
French Toast 14 Jun, 2023 @ 4:48am
nevermind, i figured it out
French Toast 14 Jun, 2023 @ 4:43am
is there a code for the sink switches?
ezrad0405 13 Jun, 2023 @ 11:26am
And it looks like it was still in the same era as newcastle
ezrad0405 13 Jun, 2023 @ 11:23am
true since this looks like newcastle but smaller but kinda different
