There seems to be a bug with the ramps that screws up conveyor function. I have a situation where I go:

Does not work: [I-Junction2]->[Long Ramp]->[Short Ramp]->[[several more junctions]]->[Converter2]->[Cargo Box]

Does work: [I-Junction2]->[Long Ramp]->[[several more junctions]]->[Converter]->[Cargo Box]

Confirmed that the section after the short ramp works on its own, but is somehow being blocked by the short ramp.

Also, a suggestion: a ramp that doesn't convert between upper and lower.

@Elachi Dance Party do you plan to make a version of the standart Tube with normal conveyor acces on the 4 closed sides? I miss a option like that for some builds of mine.

From other force field mods i have seen, if without script they mostly just removed the collisions. If it would be doable without much a hustle changing a door block and give it certain states.
state one (dfeault): walkthrough but airtight for regular use with the forccfield showing transparent thinly
state two (anti-boarding): closed (only openable by faction memebers) and still airtight maybe with a more light intense shine marking the difference visually

If you do, please make it so that it could be equally used within the ships as well as an airlock. The version i posted to you is too narrow in tha aspect, not flexible enough for what it could do. Meaning, having an airlock like that is nice and a good functionality, but incorporating it in your style in a way that it could just be used as a say forcefield limiter within the jefreytubes would be another use case. You certainly can also remember how within Star Trek and other SciFi shows they had forcefields disallowing for enemy movement or helping secure areas that had hull breaches. the later i think could be something that could be funtionally incorporated into designs. When you put like every 10th block on a battle ship design one of those to counteract hull breach depressurization.

@electricsamurai not with ladders, they can't have conveyors due to the limits of the code. I can make some ladders that visually fit but they won't be able to work as conveyors too.

To get Star Trek-like functionality, I use t-junction and x-junctions next to event controllers, timer blocks, programmable blocks, o2 gens, etc.
This allows a denser clustering of function blocks but repair and reprogram access, especially prior to renaming.

@kinngrimm the lights are like those on conveyor blocks, i don't think u can adjust those with the event controller but u may can with scripts. These work the same as vanilla conveyors just with a crawl space, unfortunately no fancy panels or moving parts like u would see in TNG or Voyager hehe

oh one more question, can i access the lights with say an event controller and make them blink/flash as a part of an alert system?

The look great and the added benefit of being conveyors makes them effcient on top :)
Am i able to reach surrounding blocks from within to weld or gind those? If so, do i have to open up any panels ?

I really love the mod, and I'm having fun building a ship that with a fully traversable internal alea. But I spent HOURS troubleshooting a problem where air wasn't going where it seemed it should, and it turns out it was the doors. You say they don't have conveyor ports, but the model does. Can you make the model fit reality (remove the connection port geometry) so that they aren't misleading?

@Vokun Vulon I do plan on making some vertical tubes for this pack, I really would like to have one with ladders like in Star Trek TNG/Voyager but I may have to settle for a jetpack tube to keep conveyor functionality.

@Dying Dark Star I started making these a bit before Keen released the update, I just had the teaser to go off of at the time and already made more than half of them. I did think about making a connector for the 2 types but I thought it may would confuse players since Keens are non-functional while mine are functional conveyors. I do plan on making a few more blocks for this pack, I could maybe make something for it.

(damn character limit) If I'm not being too clear for any of that or you have queries to what I mean, I'm happy to try to explain more, I just really want to be able to replace ALL conveyors with these, including the straight up/down connections between floors and such!


Oh and
@RandomGuy0400 the docking connector door you are thinking of was probably VCZ's, that was actually 2 parts, a connector (hollow to walk thru) and a door you attach to the end of it, thats how they made that work, clever trick and I still use it on some things now.

@Elachi Dance Party Would we be able to have some parts for vertical transition? even if it just opens up in the tube so you can stand, fly up/down thru top/bottom, thru a section of the straight ones that are set vertically, then back into an opened out section that tapers back down to crouch height.

I say you would need to be able to stand in these vertical transition sections as you cant crouch with a jetpack active, so upon reaching the target floor you would need to have some area to stand on, even if just the area around the hole you came thru, once they are standing on that lip they can crouch again, so you could then just taper the ceiling or floor to the crouch-height level of the rest of the tubes, depending if the vertical connection joins a lower or upper set tube, you can have 2 versions to fit this perhaps (1 tapers down to the bottom half of the block, meeting the right side of the your 2nd image, 1 tapers up to the top half, meeting the left side of image 2)

i like this mod but the alignment of the vanilla willis ducts and the mod ones are kinda bugging me, they're slightly too wide and short compared to their vanilla equivalents.

huh... I didn't know you couldn't have a door with conveyor ports, is that a recent development?
I seem to remember there being a docking connector door mod a while back... is it specific to the passages/ducts?

whelp..... Just did a test in creative and couldnt replicate the issue, so its most likely on my end somewhere with my install randomly deciding to glitch. Thanks for taking the time to look at it though.

@kandrinchae Ah, T junctions will light up green regardless I noticed, it's due to them being the same block type as the vanilla 6 way junction. I could take the light off it if it is causing confusion. I'll test and see if I have any issues with the same setup though, it could be an issue with one of the ports getting transformed within Blender, I've had that happen before with a turret.

converters at both ends, but for access i had t-sections right after the converters. All the lights were green as well. The set up was basically a straight line, going between small cargo containers at each end.

Container 1->converter->t-intersection->1x2x2 ramp->1x1 ramp->10ish tubes->t-intersection->converter->container 2.

I could pull from container 1 to container 2 but could not move items from 2 to 1

@Johann They are not lights, unfortunately light blocks can not have conveyors on them, same also for door blocks.

So, do the lights actually give off light or do they just turn green? I found out that they were conveyors the other night, but I still wasn't able to get actual light from them.

@Johann They are conveyors, they just need to be connected to other tubes with a port that lines up, to switch between the vanilla to Jefferies tubes though you will need to use a converter

Hey, I like this mod, but the "Lights" in the ducts don't work for some reason. They sit there yellow and give off no light. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

@kandrinchae Do you have a converter on both ends? I've been using them in a survival playthrough and so far I haven't had any issues with them, I'll try them again though in a bit and see if there is any issues. If you can't get it it working, could you join my discord and post pictures of your setup so I can try to repeat it.

Anyone else getting a weird bug that only lets you pull in one direction? I can pull from a cargo at one end but it wont let me put anything back in it....

@Genesis_Viper I'll add a bit more ways to go between floors in the future, I wanna have a few vertical tubes but you may have to use the jetpack to go between floors. I'm glad you enjoy it :)

@TallTexGuy Yeah I can make a part similar to the cover but function as a door. I'm currently working on a open H2 tank for someone but after that I'll probably come back to it.

@Acirno I started on these before they released Automations so no idea the size they were going with, I thought about editing them to line up but I felt it best not to since theirs are nonfunctional. Some may would be confused with the conveyors are not working if they were the same size.
