1)Have you ever played with DeI?
2)in the picture, you can see clearly princeps, hastati and triarii
3)in Divide et Impera there are 4 reforms to the Romans
a) Camillan: pre manipular army, up to the Forche Caudine
b) Polybian Army: manipular reform, from the Forche Caudine to Caio Mario (the ones I use for the battles of Zama, Cannae, Carthage)
c) Marian Reform: Enlistment of the Capite Censi,Manipulus replaced by Choort
d) Reform of Augustus: Imperial Legion

Then how is it, that you said "upgrade cammilian units to polybian units" What do you mean by that? And plus on the screenshot, it shows legionaires.

In fact, there are not legionaries, in battles you mentioned

For the Carthage seige, Legionaires, a couple of hundred years before Gaius Marius (The guy who created Legionaires) was even born. Same for Pydna, Cannae and Zama.

Thanks for the mod

you need to extract those files, you can not directly edit the game files, so you have to create a new mod

I'm pretty sure I tried it before and the changes never took effect. I'll try it again though, thanks bud.

You need to go to find the script file in data_rome2 pack, in this file, there are historical battles, but not all, of Cannae and Zama are in the file punic.pack

then look for the file battle.xml, and edit them all

So this means you figured out how to modify historical battles? Been trying to wrap my head around it for ages but never managed to figure it out. How'd you do it?
