This sounds great! :) A couple questions:

Can I use my backpack, with other stuff in it, for storing my going-out-to-loot clothes, and my other backpack with other stuff for storing hanging-around-base-and-building-clothes?

Can I use two tags on one container? (Like having 2 different home outfits in a wardrobe.)

@Torbaz Just rip some clothes up into Ripped Sheets and then either find the Make Outfit Tag option by either Right Clicking on the sheets or looking in the Crafting Window.

Okay, I think I see what the issue is. If you have a LOT of mod data, some debugging code was killing performance when you were looking at the character screen. It should be fixed now.

@ewpayne Not working in MP in what way? I don't have any issues.

Tags applied to backpacks are not shared between players in MP, but tags applied to containers like Wardrobes are shared.

After long searching I found out, that this mod causes the frame drop to under 1 FPS when entering the character status window. Can't explain but I removed the mods one by one and this is the result.

Thought, I have large container - I decide to fill container with... 5 bags, I put tag in each bag, I store 5 outfits in 1 bag, with 5 in the 1 container??

Interesting note: You can apply tags to bags however if you drop it and then re-equip it, that tag info is gone.

@Cosmic No problem, was just odd. This is certainly better than the outfit bag.

Is it possible to have a tag retain outfit data if you removed it to say "rename it" then re-apply?

@Krilton It'd be quite a bit of extra complexity to make sure clothes are put on and off in a realistic order. Especially when new clothing spots are added by mods.

One thing I am curious about and I'm not sure if anything can be done about it but I have one outfit that you put on in a "correct" order but another gets put on in the "inverted" order.

Though the odd thing being is the outfit that goes on correctly comes off inverted or the one that goes on inverted comes off correctly.

By inverted, I mean you put your pants on then your underpants or a tanktop then (if a female) your bra last.

So I believe I figured out what I was doing wrong. You have to have your outfit in the container and then register that outfit. Rinse and repeat for every one. It's amazing what can happen if you re-read everything when you're not half-asleep.

It isn't suppose to grab every piece of clothing in the registered container, is it? Reason being, it will grab pieces that aren't registered and the character will wear it.

For example: Using the pictures you have above. I apply "wear jill's work outfit" which is does but if there is a sweater in that same container that isn't "registered" to the outfit, it will grab it and put it on.

@ELTR101 Do you mean the RE1 outfit or the RE3 outfit? RE1 outfit is just some vanilla stuff. The RE3 outfit is from my Gunshop Kendo mod.

Is it possible to extend this to store/retrieve/wear equipped gear (backpacks/bags/weapons) as well? Does it do this already and I'm just too dense to figure it out? After a long day of scavenging, I usually store my scavenging clothes and EDC gear when I get back to base and change into my evening lounge attire. Currently I have to unequip all my gear manually. Would be awesome to have a 2 click solution to do this.

I rarely remove anything I'm wearing till damaged, because it seems too tedious to do often. This may be a game changer. About to give it a go and thanks for creating this.

[*] Fixed bug that broke the Character Info screen
[*] If you've been afflicted with this issue, make an Outfit Tag and select the "Fix Favorite Weapon" option
[*] Fixed applied bandages being saved as part of outfits
[*] Added a "Store & Register" option that will immeidately save your currently worn clothes as an Outfit as they are being put into the Outfit Container

Super practical and easy to use.

I might have a few good suggestions:

* Would it be possible to add an option to save outfits by clothing name?
Background/Explanation: Especially in a multiplayer server it would be nice if several could wear the "same" outfit from a container.
E.g. in the wardrobe are 5 t-shirts, 5 jeans 5 socks etc. each type with the same name. In the outfit is 1 t-shirt, 1 jeans and 1 sock stored.
So with 1 stored outfit, 5 people could equip this at the container.
(As a practical side effect, you could also bring some variance in the "everyday clothes" ;-))

* Similar to Bags, it would be useful to mark outfits as "private" in Containers as well.

* last, but not least, it would be nice if multiple outfits in a container can be grouped in the context menu.
With many outfits in one closet the list becomes quite long ;-)

[*] Changed how things work under the hood to fix MP syncronization
[*] Outfit tags applied to bags and such are only visible to the person who applies them
[*] Outfit tags applied to containers such as wardrobes are synced between all players on the MP server
[*] SP saves will need to reapply any outfit tags they had to bags originally

Minor cosmetic issue - Bandages from wounds get "duplicated" and added to a mannequin.
When outfit is worn again, cosmetic bandages get applied to the player.
"Cosmetic" bandages persist through picking up, moving, & changing direction of the Mannequin.

Player has to obtain another wound on that "bandaged" body part and bandage/remove bandage to get rid of it.
Or debug if its a SP game.

Not sure if its possible to add a filtered item list that prevents bandages being applied to mannequins.
Alternatively, live the mummy dream?

Outfit tags getting kicked out of the containers theyre applied to on server reset? Is that normal behavior or am I just having issues. Mod is fantastic and works perfectly, tags just get removed.

Update:
[*] You can now apply multiple Outfit Tags to a container and each option will appear on the Context Menu
[*] Retrieve Outfit will now just place the clothes in your inventory.
[*] Wear Outfit will have your character grab and equip all the clothes
[*] New Option: Register Outfit
- Every item in the container at the time Register is activated will be remembered by the Outfit Tag
- Store, Wear, and Retrieve will only target the clothes that have been Registered to the Outfit Tag
- Clicking Register again will wipe the previously remembered clothes and have the Outfit Tag remember what was in the container on the new Register
- If there has been no clothes registered to the tag, it will operate as before, Store will store everything currently equipped, Wear will have your character put on all clothes in the container, and Retrieve will have your character grab all clothes in the container.

I'll update the screenshots later today.

So with this mod I can use the same let say shirt for different outfit tag in the same container? So it's like your outfit bag mod but in the same container?

BTW I realy like your outfit bag mod, it's realy helpful for managing multiple outfit :steamhappy:
