@UltraRanger That's a change made consciously by the dev's.
The new formation attack stance is pseudo the old movement but wont fix it completely.
The Wh3 dev's are underfunded, uncoordinated or too lazy and dont play the wh3 & wh2 games enough to care or compare something like that at the moment.
Also that bug is with all the infantry units in wh3 not just the ranged ones.
I recommend pointing out its less fun on the TW forums like others, and hope they listen to fans like they did with chaos.

Hi I'd like to report a bug. Back in WH2, Sentinals and Spire Guards are classified as frontline (melee?) infantry so you can easily drag their formation around, which is what I use. But now in WH3 their classification changed to missile infantry? Thus in deployment phase they cannot be auto deployed in the same line as say, Lothern Sea Guards or Spearmen. Can you take a look at it?
