anyone can do with this mod what they want to in terms of further development since im done with it and quite frankly, im not good at modding, this is just an achievement reskin and luke warm achievement number copy paste's in the items file not actual coding

I figured out what breaks the Black Bean. Looking into the base game items.xml, the Black Bean now has a cooldown variable, which is set to 30. Copying the variable into your items.xml fixes the issue.

It also breaks Breath of Life, but that's because it came out before the Breath of Life update, so it uses a different charge time.

This mod breaks the Black Bean. I have no idea how, but going through each mod one by one, I've found that this is the only mod that could be breaking it.

Found a bug with The Forgotten: I killed Mega Satan and unlocked Host Hat instead of Forget-Me-Now.

then you'll just have all the items unlocked

what happens if i were to disable this mid way through a save file i started with it on?

actually im making another playthrough challange mod called "alternate universe" that switches the effects of all the items with eachother (tammys head and crickets head have the other items effect for instance) and all the item unlocks will not be items it would normally unlock it will just have their name and look like them but it'll take a while until its done since i need to edit all the item namens, pools, costumes, effects etc and there will also be a mod that contains that one and this one combined

I feel like this would be a perfect mod for a challenge run/series on YouTube lol

i'm using repentance + and i got some of the locked pickups as room drops which was really...weird.

it only messes with item stuff so those should be uneffected but modding can do wierd stuff so i guess its not completly impossable either (i dunno what other mods ur using tho)

so quick question, this mod doesn't mess with pickup drops right? i got a soul rune before i even unlocked the tainted characters and idk what would have done that.

The files are all in the folder, and the luas have pretty intuitive names. They're handled through stuff like an achievement_tracker and unlock_manager or stuff like that.

no idea how to do that, the way i did this mod is by setting items to already existing achievments in this case, the baby achievments and there are no achievments for completing tainted chars apart from death cert i guess
