Ok thanks, looks like that guide has not been updated for years, but I left a comment there.
In old versions of the mod (1.3 era) there were some patches in this mod that could affect performance, but this has been reworked long ago, and nowadays patches are only applied while the preview is active. Which performance guide still mentions it?
Please provide a full log file, otherwise there is no way for me to tell what the problem is. If you have HugsLib, you can press Ctrl + F12 (after the problem happened) to upload the log. If that doesn't work (or you don't have HugsLib) get this mod .
Looks like the combination of the mods ReBuild Doors and Corners and Archipelagos (continued) is what triggers it, either mod on its own works fine. I put it on the todo list of potential compatibility patches, but I'm not sure this is something I can even fix/prevent from my end.

I've tested with the exact mod list you have and no error is happening. Most likely you have some corrupted files, I recommend that you re-download all mods, verify integrity of game files, and reset your config.

What do you mean by "map search"? There is no search function in this mod.
You can already do that, the seed number is shown in the bottom left of each preview. To jump to any particular number, hold shift while clicking the refresh button.

This is normal, the preview only shows natural terrain. Any extra structures like roads, buildings or ruins are not generated in previews.
There's no roads on map preview, how come ;-;
For help with general troubleshooting, I recommend asking in the #troubleshooting channel of the RimWorld discord [discord.com]. Make sure to read the pinned message and provide all the information that people will need to help you, including a full log file.
Yes, previews only show terrain, not any objects on the map.
Looks like one of your mods caused an error during generation of the quest site map. This happened two times, once when the caravan arrived and the actual map was attempted to generate, and then again when the world tile was selected and Map Preview attempted to generate a preview for that tile. Unfortunately the log does not contain any hints about which of your mods caused the original error. If you can find out which mod it is, let me know, then I can look into it further.

Thanks for reporting. The issue is caused by an initialization error from the mod "More Vanilla Biomes", so unfortunately not something I can fix on my end. Please report it to the author of More Vanilla Biomes.

That log does not contain any errors from Map Preview. However there are plenty coming from the world preview feature of the "Regrowth Expanded World Generation" mod.
This mod on its own does not modify anything about factions, or how the world generates. You probably have some mod conflict that causes errors during world generation. If you provide a full HugsLib log, I can tell you which mod causes the error.

There are no errors in that log, not from Map Preview and also not from any other mods. Unfortunately that means the only way to find out which mod causes the potential conflict, is trial and error. You can do this by halving your mod list repeatedly until the issue no longer happens, and then add them back slowly until it happens again. If you do find out which mod it is, let me know, then I can create a compatibility patch.

At this point I have tested extensively with Map Preview + Anomaly and the labyrinth is consistently working fine for me. But of course it could be a conflict with some other mod that I don't have. Unfortunately without a log, it is impossible to tell which one.
Please look for your log file in the game directory. On Windows, it is usually located here: C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios
After the issue happened, find the "Player.log" file in there and upload it to some online sharing service, for example https://paste.gg
Endless loading entering to the labyrinth from anomaly DLC occurred due to this mod.
I'm sure I uses latest version of your mod.
I had been literally obsessed with finding what mod is causing this endless loading, but finally I found it in one of the Rimworld discussion on steam. And I tested, That was "map preview". After removing this mod, everything works just fine like my colonist was successfully abducted by monolith.
As for error, I couldn't notice any error because of endless loading screen, and I don't know where player log is located. The way of reporting I only know is hugslib but couldn't use it, so yeah.
I also have no idea this mod itself is causing this issue or some conflicting with other mods, but I 'm gonna report it anyway, Keep it up great modder!

Map Preview was not designed to be compatible with multiplayer. I have no experience with any of the multiplayer mods, sorry.
