This change causes certain stats to benefit from manipulation twice.

For example, Mining Speed is already affected by both Global Work Speed and by Manipulation. If you make Global Work Speed affected by Manipulation as well, then Mining Speed is effectively changed by Manipulation twice.

Here's some screenshots of the Mining Speed stat of a pawn with two bionic arms (Manipulation 125%) both with and without this mod active.

yeah I looked into that but went back to vanilla balancing. general labor speed is already uncapped in regards to manipulation and I think sight as well. at least I don't see any cap in the pawn stats window.

Lord Maelstrom also i just check your older comments , there is hard cap for these works speeds stats thats why you dont work really faster with bionics (example research speed is affected by sight and manipulation but these stat can go only up to 110% of importance). Get mod like Un-Limited to remove these hard cap.

I think general work speed in vanilla is just an extension of global work speed, they really just do the same thing.

one thing I noticed is that general work speed is multiplied by global work speed, so my industrious pawn with two bionic arms actually gets 169% general work speed. I think vanilla balancing is just fine but I haven't played with this mod yet, I just subscribed and then read the wiki about work and then unsubscribed.

Lord Maelstrom you are wrong General labour speed affect speed of stonecutting,crafting... But Globalwork speed affect nearly all types of works (hacking,prunning are unaffected) so bigger Global Work speed make your pawn overall working faster, General labour speed affect only few work types

this mod literally doesn't do anything, general labor speed is basically the same thing as global work speed

Pestilenc3 qualitty is affected by skill level (+inspiration or Production Specialist), global work speed only affect the working speed

If I've been giving bionic arms to my crafter to make marine armor faster this whole time and it hasn't actually made a difference then thats a big bruh moment. if this mod fixes that then thats a W

"rimworldwiki" General Labor Speed The speed at which this person carries out general labor like making stone blocks, making chemfuel at a refinery, burning items, tailoring clothes, creating art, smithing armor and weapons or smelting slag. This stat applies both to activities that involve no skill, as well as those where the skill affects the quality of the product instead of the speed of production. Global Work Speed A multiplier on someone's speed at doing any work.

finally THE SPEED I REQUIRE
