This absolutely needs a level cap option cause scaling gets wonky at high levels like normal mobs hitting harder than bosses (jungle plant monster), bosses being hp sponges (slime god twins), etc.

Also some bosses for some reason don't scale, like I had skeletron prime head deal only 100 damage at level 80 compared to it's arms which each had 2k damage. It works if the prime head had a berserker modifier, but without any modifier it's poop.

Also the stats ui disappears every time I enter a world :steamsad: I can make it work by going to the mod menu config and changing the ui scale, but it doesn't stay if I quit the game and boot it up again :2016imnotcrying:

With tweaks/fixes this could be amazing :happy_yeti:

This is a good mod, I like it a lot, but I wish you could toggle the level cap on or off. It's kinda annoying with modpacks that add a ton of bosses where you reach the level cap when you've only slain one third of the bosses that exist.

i have a problem with the goblin and Poiret

passably soler eclipse Halloween moon and frost moon and martian madness

i have trubel trying to defeat them but they com so slowly that it dispersal and reapers

i haft ti reset the spawn to even get 2% of it done

its even worse with the biger bosses like the

flying Dutchmen and the goblin warlock

and passably the martian saucer

hay una forma de aumentar significativamente el daño de los jefes ya que todos los jefes con los que me enfrente infligen entre 10 a 100 de daño y tengo 3k de vida, soy prácticamente inmortal xd

ez tips: ranger till post boc or eow then go melee and get volcano and molten armor till skleletron then nights edge for wof and then get the knife for mechs

found the mod from youtube. loving the mod so far, however searching its name on steam gives no results, i had to go to your steam profile to find the mod.

step 1 - using a summon for a damage source to farm exp gives the active hotbar slot exp

step 2 - picking an item up onto a mouse click registers it as the active hotbar slot

step 3 - the item on the mouse gains exp but cant write it to the item

step 4 - the item registers any levels gained during that period as levels or ascensions potentially resulting in infinite points to spend without actually leveling the item.

step 4.5 - getting an item to its ascend cap before killing a boss makes this incredibly easy to do, and level 1 items also gain points like mad

got to post 1 mech, cant kill destroyer due to hp integer overflow. Could you add a setting to divide all player damage and enemy health by a certain number to prevent integer overflows please?

Great mod in 1.3 terraria. In 1.4.4 though shimmer downright RUINS it by making 90% of the time you spend playing with this mod just spent throwing bad rolls in shimmer and picking it up again until you get what you want. The best way to play should not be the least fun way to play. If you want to play this mod i'd HIGHLY suggest you do it on 1.3 or 1.4.3. Without a way to automate that process or add some kind of shimmer fee, its just a boring shimmer simulator.

Here's how i'd fix it: first off, shimmer only should return 95% of the items (this is configurable however if you think 95% is too kind or you want to keep OP shimmer). Then, add some kind of way to combine effects from 1 item with the effects of another. 2 items go in, 1 item comes out with you deciding what attributes to keep on each one, exp is added together, rarities must be the same. Finally, 2 items of the same rarity can be merged together to make a new item with random modifiers of the next rarity, cant go past max, exp is added. This way getting maxed stuff is still painfully expensive but adds more strategy and less grind in shimmer for 12 hours straight if you are trying to get maxed stuff.

When you get the trancendinal being all the way at the bottem of skill tree. There is a bug where when you fight a boss or ,any enemy for that matter, you do only one damage. I was wondering if this bug is known. If it is PLEASE PATCH IT, I'VE BEEN WAITING PLEASE PATCH IT.

There is a huge incompatibility issue with "N Terraria Experience" mod, where town NPC's gain 500 ~ 2000 damage and defense every second, and doesn't cap out.

In addition, some skill tree aspects seem to decrease items/stats, or have no effect. The item skill tree seems to be littered with skills that decrease item damage to bare-minimum.

This mod makes sooo much fun! I just love it how stupidly overpowered you can get and buff useless weapons massively. I have an copper shortsword that deals 2000 base damage (I'm just beginning a new journey)

Anyone having fun with this mod should check out the Creator's steam game: Rogue Genesia. Its a little roguelike game that is pretty fun, and scratches the same kind of itch that this mod scratches, but outside of a terraria context

Is it possible to remove health scaling on critters? I believe that melee-attacking summons will fixate on (but won't kill) critters that have a high enough health total, distracting them from actual enemies. This makes Summoning really difficult to use, as sometimes my knives will hang out with a butterfly instead of fighting Skeletron Prime!

Can you make the revamped stat/debuff bars completely optional? It conflicts with certain QoL mods, for example one that lets you pick which buffs to hide(completely breaks it without errors), amulet of many minions (screwy but still technically works), some hp-bar things related to items (like overshield added by an item not showing because new hp bar)...

Man, this mod is really cool, it's incredible. But the armor and sword skill tree fails all the time. I just suddenly can't access the menu, it no longer opens and as a result I lose the entire character. Irritating.

Is there a level cap? I'm almost level 800 and wanna know if there's a cap cause fighting regular enemies with over 1M hp is kinda annoying, while my weapons do a lot of damage (100k+) it still takes a bit cause my weapons also have a fairly long cooldown.

You should add a level cap, if you do it works, like, if you do that, at least there is a limit on how much strong bosses and the player can be, making things fair

Does anyone else have issues with this mod clashing with Calamity? I am playing Multiplayer as well, and I am hosting the server. Randomly, it is like no bonus damage gets applied to the weapons. The example I have is when I am using a Bladecrest Oathsword +24. Sometimes the projectiles hit for 140, and sometimes they hit for 710. If I swap back and forth between a mining pick and another weapon, it appears that the damage it can do gets randomized, but stays the same throughout while I am holding the weapon. Anyone heard of anything like this?

something happens with weapons where after reaching a certain damage or level threshold or something they hit for only one damage. I feel like im being punished for being too powerful by having to get rid of my good weapons and use worse ones.

Well guys it works for me with calamity infernum mode, and if you have lag, exit the game and reenter, but I don't recommend afk farming, because it's TOO OP and it gets boring, oh and btw, the defense stat it's broken, when I went lvl 125 it started being 0,any ideas how to fix it? + [( For the DEV)] Can you add a setting that makes the bosses harder to kill when you get to lvl 1000 pls? Because I give 5 hits to devourer of gods plsssss. I like your mod btw.

For me, HUD does works with Calamity, but not with Level+ (it worked last time I played in early 2023).

Does anyone know how ascension works? I can only seem to get 1 point per item, and the item tree clearly can take more.
