For some reason it's not working in multiplayer
Natural 3 Jun @ 9:49am
chose unemployed and spawned next to an open grave in a cemetery and had to run for my life, brilliant fun.

I'd love a version of this that has zero bus stop spawns, instant quit to menu when I see I spawn in one of those.
Great_Puffer 9 Feb @ 10:38pm
wtf are the engie spawns, they suck so bad
also id the option to instead start at a home in louisville
kudasai 28 Jan @ 7:00pm
320 spawn points yet I got the same bus stop like 5 times in a row, on high pop peak day 1 this mod sucks
enahs bocaj 15 Jan @ 6:19pm
I did everything correctly in the steps and it doesn't show the spawn point when I go to spawn, but I see it everywhere else. I'm not sure if there is something that didn't save but I'm almost positive I did most of it correctly
dudedelydude 12 Sep, 2023 @ 12:47pm
somehow i did everything in the checklist and in my settings it does show up. but when i die in the multiplayer save to see if the spawn for louisville is there, it is not.... and i dont really know why
BroDimm 18 Jul, 2023 @ 10:29pm
what about jobs that not listed above (from mods). will it defaulted to something?
Mr. KillerX 6 Apr, 2023 @ 12:25pm
@hungry for More? you needa change the spawnregions ini file from memory, I'd look up how to do it because you need to know the file location for the mod to make it a region
Kafkatrap 31 Mar, 2023 @ 5:02pm
Does anyone know if there is a mod that adds occupational spawns to the vanilla spawn towns?
And, if possible, adds occupational spawns to the other smaller towns?

If not, that would be a really cool addition to this mod @Cuckoo :lunar2019piginablanket:
Hungry for More? 31 Mar, 2023 @ 3:40pm
I have a mp hosted server, where I imput all of the steps for the Ini, and still dont have Lewisville as an option to spawn. Am I missing something?
star 3 Feb, 2023 @ 10:01pm
Probably gonna be my favorite PZ mod. Louisville supremacy
eg 30 Dec, 2022 @ 11:50am
@Kriv the issue with that is 2 things. 1, start date is set in the difficulty, independent of spawn location. Secondly, it works off of weeks, so closest you can do is 1 week after the apocalypse
SilverHusky 11 Dec, 2022 @ 3:21am
I'm not getting an option to spawn in louisville. I've added and enabled the mod in both the server and the mod organizer and I've added OccupiedLouisville to the possible spawns in the settings
kermie_lover 1 Nov, 2022 @ 3:59am
hi can you post the map cells used plz?
anthonator00 14 Aug, 2022 @ 10:06pm
is there a discord? i have some questions and some suggestions
Faye <3 13 Jul, 2022 @ 5:52am
Due to story reasons, choosing this starting location should make you start later in the game, as the city gets overrun in the fifth day
BaconBits 22 Jun, 2022 @ 8:07pm
Awesome! i love this mod and use it all the time now, amazing job! though i did notice that a lot of the spawns are very broken in terms of balance, for example playing as a veteran i'll sometimes spawn in a mall. However, that removes all zombies from the entire mall which makes the game way too easy because i can just grab whatever i need. I'm not sure of a solution but just something to keep in mind.
Jaydee 15 Jun, 2022 @ 2:57am
Hi the thumbnail and description when selecting a spawn region in dedicated server does not show up properly. It works as intended tho, it's just not showing the thumbnail and/or description when selecting.
Soulstorm012 20 May, 2022 @ 4:15pm
@ Cuckoo Park ranger spawns sometimes have zombies near enough to bite as soon as I spawn. This is made worse with sprinters. IDK if its possible, but can you can provide a small safe bubble around the spawns? Or some way to not have a bite -1 second into the game lol
Rukio 5 May, 2022 @ 5:10pm
Does this work in 41.68 for MP? Can't really take the time to test it with an active server. Seeing someone below say it doesn't work with 41.66 has me curious.
Sweet Baby Jesus 25 Feb, 2022 @ 10:59pm
I recently updated to windows 11, and now I have this mod working. So I believe my issue was my using windows 7 still.
Falke 25 Feb, 2022 @ 5:18am
Dont work in 41.66
Cuckoo  [author] 14 Feb, 2022 @ 5:53am
Hmm... Fair enough. Multiple people now have mentioned having trouble with lag when spawning into the mall, so I may have to round up the mall spawns at some point (there's a few, between the occupations) and test them to see if and when I can get this performance issue to come up.

If I can, I wonder whether it's when spawning anywhere in the mall (including store rooms, bathrooms, backrooms, helipad, etc); or if it's when spawning into the store fronts in particular (which would account for most of the mall spawns), with those open entrances that provide no barrier between you and the rest of the mall space.

It would be a bit of a shame, but if it's reproducible, I could try restricting more of those to be store rooms, backrooms, and other spaces initially separated from the general mall area (assuming that's the nature of the issue).
Kal 14 Feb, 2022 @ 12:41am
Yeah, had major lag when spawned in the mall, to the point that I could not do anything. Might need to remove that spawn. No issues with any others as of yet though!
Sweet Baby Jesus 6 Feb, 2022 @ 8:49am
So I've tried uninstalling both my game, and the mod, starting new single player games with as many different settings as I could think of prior to selecting starting location, and nothing will get the Louisville spawn to appear when starting a game. I'm starting to think maybe it has something to do with my pc. I'm actually still running W7 if that might have anything to do with it...
Rifted Seal 5 Feb, 2022 @ 12:57pm
Lil to laggy in mall
jax 1 Feb, 2022 @ 1:23pm
imagine when Ncp events come so than the military blocked of leuisvill and you spawn inside
i'm so crazy for youuu ᐸ/3 31 Jan, 2022 @ 9:11am

Purp 25 Jan, 2022 @ 2:55pm
@Cuckoo Thank you very much!!
Cuckoo  [author] 25 Jan, 2022 @ 10:09am
@Purp
Of course, don't let me stop you!
Purp 24 Jan, 2022 @ 6:35pm
@Cuckoo Could I add this mod to a server modpack for my server? I would credit you and add a link back to this page in the description.
PterribleDactylus 20 Jan, 2022 @ 4:05pm
Thank you for the kind response! I'm sorry if i seemed harsh at all, i do really like your mod, some of the spawns are really fun! I'll try out the mod you recommended!
Cuckoo  [author] 20 Jan, 2022 @ 3:46pm
@PterribleDactylus
I understand where you're coming from, and I agree that a setting to (perhaps) preclude zombies spawning in your starting room, instead of your entire starting building, would be great. I wouldn't personally know where to begin modding that in, though.

As hinted in the description, I only had singleplayer (or very low-pop co-op) experiences in mind when making this. The fact it works for multiplayer is just a happy coincidence.

It's first and foremost a random(-ish) assortment of stark and incongruently-balanced starting locations, instead of a set of balanced (but mostly-interchangeable) residential houses, mainly because that's what I was interested in working on (at the very least to start).

You may want to try Pillow's Random Spawns if you haven't already, I think I remember it including at least one spawn region (probably more) for domestic neighbourhood starts in Louisville.
PterribleDactylus 20 Jan, 2022 @ 11:16am
Or, to add to my previous comment, a way to make starting buildings spawn with zombies, for at least a slight challenge instead of the sweat and boredom moodles.
PterribleDactylus 20 Jan, 2022 @ 11:14am
This is a really neat mod and all, but it is WAY too unbalanced, i started in the police station, which is connected to 3 other buildings, and got plenty of armor and clothing, and found a hand axe in a supply closet in a connected building, meaning i got into the MASSIVE armory in the police station, being able to get that on day one, with NO resistance from any zombies isn't very balanced or fun, especially on multiplayer. It would be much nicer if there was a version for just houses and no large buildings,
forgiveanangel 19 Jan, 2022 @ 9:29pm
This doesn't seem to be properly adding the Louisville option when making a character?
StoicSpecimen 16 Jan, 2022 @ 2:31pm
Nevermind I found it out!
StoicSpecimen 16 Jan, 2022 @ 2:17pm
I'm having trouble as I am trying to create a safehouse at a fire station in Louisville, which is a spawnpoint from here. Any way I can go ahead and just delete that spawn point in the files? Where would I do so?
shit-for-brains 12 Jan, 2022 @ 6:10pm
Yes
Ghost of Mildred Monday 12 Jan, 2022 @ 5:31pm
Does this work for solo?
Ulas 12 Jan, 2022 @ 1:56pm
Okay, thanks a lot for taking time out of your day and trying the mods yourself, I really appreciate it
Cuckoo  [author] 12 Jan, 2022 @ 12:43pm
@Ulas
Just tried it alongside a few other Louisville spawnpoint add-ons, and it all seems to load and run fine.

On a practical level, you'll still have to pick which addon's "Louisville, KY" to use for each new character. They won't all be combined into one master "Louisville, KY" spawn region, or anything along those lines.
Ulas 12 Jan, 2022 @ 10:12am
Hey would this mod be compatible with a similar mod that also adds different Louisville spawns? Im thinking that the more variety in spawnpoints, the better.
1984 Honda Civic CRX 10 Jan, 2022 @ 11:20am
@Cuckoo thank you for your help. I will surely use this mod!
Cuckoo  [author] 10 Jan, 2022 @ 6:42am
(The city of Louisville itself isn't modded in, if that's what you mean - Louisville was officially added to the world in Project Zomboid Build 41.)
Cuckoo  [author] 10 Jan, 2022 @ 6:40am
@1985 Honda Civic CRX

This mod adds Louisville to the spawn locations you can select for a new character (instead of having to travel to Louisville from another spawn location, etc). The spawn points are distributed across the city and its surrounding neighbourhoods.

I can confirm that there are no high-altitude, deep-forest spawn points in this mod. There's a couple of farms, and one or two spawn points on wooded footpaths (still pretty central) for certain occupations, but that's all.
1984 Honda Civic CRX 10 Jan, 2022 @ 6:32am
Is this the mod with the Louisville map? Some other mods made me think they are the actual mod, yet I spawned in a deep forest at a high altitude.
Malikyte 9 Jan, 2022 @ 5:25pm
No worries. I sent a link to you with a .zippped archive of the last version. It'll be there when you get up.
Cuckoo  [author] 9 Jan, 2022 @ 5:23pm
Malikyte, that'd be awesome, cheers! I've sent a friend request (although it's pretty late(/early) where I am, so I'll be signing off for tonight).
