This means that the reload sound was specifically timed to fit Black Mesa's reload animations. This pack works with Vanilla animations and MTB's reanimation pack by default. But I also made a IIopn patch.
I did end up fixing it, it was a mounting order issue. I renamed the vpk to have 0- at the beginning, which seemed to fix the problem.
And follow this vid step by step.
I've clearly done something wrong, but what? Is it the weapon mods I have, maybe? Is that enough to make the entire mod not function? No matter if it's in vpk format, or if i unpack the mod to use as a folder -- it doesn't matter. Even snd_restart doesn't make the sounds appear.
Does anyone have ANY idea what I could be doing wrong (or maybe things commonly missed) to make the mod not work?

this is why i love sound replacement mods on games who's vanilla sounds are so fugly.
