For Forsburn, you can disperse the clouds by hitting them, and for Rykenburn, you can remove the mark by hitting the enemy in question. In Mal's case, the latter prompts even more aggression from the other player, which in turn would play into her bait-and-punish playstyle you seem to be going for.
I feel like Mal needs one of these changes to miasma to make the mechanic feel better playing against, but until then, I can't in good faith remain subscribed to the character. Which sucks too, because I really want to like how she plays, and feel like it's just missing that interaction with her mechanic.
