The coding part is easy, my main challenge will be the textures.
If I get some free time, I might take a look at Vanilla Gravship Expanded - Chapter 1, but no promises. Maybe it'll never happen.
do you intend to patch your gravship parts for the VE gravship mods systems ?
like the astrofuel, oxygen and maintenance
maybe aswell as octos space movement and/or maintenance support

It’s best to reach out to the authors of that mod, they should be able to help.
That said, there are quite a few ways to get more of it, from the slow but steady Syntherius Tree growing, to the weirder methods like EGO Tree growing as pen Syntherius Slime, Synthesis Dryads, or my favorite: install hi-tech Chaos Slime farms
the mod is cool, im just going through the typical early game where surviving is hard on the maps im on, (in my very early game in v1.6 of rimworld, the only way to survive so far, has been to sell everything i can obtain, even cooked meals, just to be able to get the occasional bionic implant and some basic food to cook), but is it ok for me to sell these obsidia items, or should i be trying to grab as much of them as i can and saving them for later?
So the issue isn’t in this mod.

Yes, just like other Anomaly Entities, you can contain them. The tricky part is that the chance to down them is pretty low, and if your weapons hit too hard, it’s very easy to… well… overdo it and kill them instead.
one thing i saw, was that it mentions that they can be harvested for bioferrite, using anomaly detainment/confinement, but can i check how to do we get some bioferrite from them? (they all seem to get fully destroyed when attacked enough, and when they finally die, they dont seem to be "downed" for capture, and no dead body is there to butcher etc?
The next Obsidia Expansion update is planned for sometime between Tuesday and Thursday next week. During this update, all Backstories and Traits will be removed and moved to a new standalone mod: Obsidia Expansion - Paths and Stories.
To prevent issues with your existing saves, there are two options:
A) Subscribe to the new mod and place it below Obsidia Expansion in your load order
B) Load a local copy of the current version before updating, if you prefer to keep things as they are
Please note that I’ve given advance notice, so any issues with old saves after the update won’t be addressed.
Nice move using Cherry Picker mod, that’s actually a pretty creativity move!
About the content creator thing, I’m not really after fame or likes. I make mods for fun, and if some people enjoy them too, that’s more than enough for me.
All Backstories and Traits will be removed from this mod and released as a separate one: Obsidia Expansion - Paths and Stories.

Guess some players find the settings boss a bit too hard
The mod’s had a “Chaos Slimes Hives - Player Map Only” option for a while, it makes hives spawn only on your home maps.
Tried to register the same load ID twice: null, pathRelToParent=/lastUser, parent=OE_Wall

If it doesn’t work like that for you, then the problem is coming from other mod(s)
