speaking of your EMP mod is there any plans to try and restore that mod for a modern age?

I like this mod, but can someone make an updated version, there's an explosion every time a projectile hits a shield, but with the addition of lasers, high firerate weapons, or overall collisions it becomes game breaking. Since the author is on a complete SE break, can someone optimize this mod? Would love to see a remaster or revamp as this is one of the few shield mods that still work properly, and one of the only ones that works universally no matter what combat systems mod is used.

hey jon if do u know if this mod requires cilent scripts if so ik someone who might be able to help me with converting it to xbox comp i have hopes but that is info i need also if it can be swapped to server side scripts

If I put the shields on a ship, it'll always be too heavy. Can you fix that?

Hi there 人族狙击手, absolutely do anything you want with the mod. I don't think Ash will mind you reusing his model. And behemoth that's interesting, didn't know that... wonder why?!??

Unfortunately I no longer have time to tweak or update any of my SE mods; in fact I'm on a complete SE break. As always, 100% of my work is totally free to share/change/republish, any other author whose content is inside my mods should be consulted separately. Hope the community is still enjoying the game and modders can benefit from my dodgy work!

For some reason, this doesnt play nice with safe zones in survival. As soon as the blueprint is placed, before its built up, it disables the safe zone entirely.

Thanks for comments guys. Yes there's client-side scripting, needs to be for the block to display its charge level and such, so I imagine it isn't OK on all platforms. That said I haven't really been on SE for months and have never tried on XBox so maybe there's a surprise there?

If you have script working on the Client side (And it probably does), it won't work on Xbox.

i love it i just hate that the gravity generators pull the ship allover the place but its much better than defense shields against vanilla weapons

Gravity, IDNE. You should adjust your grav gen's field to exclude the block (as mentioned in the description,it's a mass block base.)

I haven't had a chance to use this, but is it a bubble shield or does it hug the hull of the vessel?
