fixed, should work now
if any mod replaces 80_major_decisions file., then this mod won't work. sadly seems changing the decision alone is not possible no idea why.

I can understand the rational behind it. I mean becoming an emperor and having same dynasty kings sure can be difficult. But having same dynasty people ruling independent kingdoms (9 of them) sure sounds challenging, so I get it. If the challenge was easy then the reward shouldn't be high :)

@Deagroth that's not possible, you can't change the file name and still expect to change the decision, the game read the decision in the 80_major file then it will also read the same decision but changed in the mod_decision file which means the game is not changing the vanilla one.
I tried it and did't work, i have updated the mods not that they needed update but since i installed the game to check that out might as well, it would have been nice if it worked tho, if you did manage to do it with a different file name let me know since for me it didn't work.

The problem is that this mod copies and overwrites the *entire* vanilla file instead of having a unique file name and just editing the Dynasty of Many Crowns decision. This makes it incompatible with any vanilla changes to said file, as well as with any mod that tries to edit one of the other decisions in there that this mod isn't meant to touch.

@Ekmos If somthing does not work: copy file 80_major_decisions from main folder of game C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Crusader Kings III\game\common\decisions
and put in the folder of the mod with replacement. Then open this file 80_major_decisions in the folder of mode end delete string is_independent_ruler = yes Right now it is 415 string. Test it and good luck. If youi still have problen so the problem in another mod.

@The Big Bad Wolf ♕ i fixed it before but for wherever reason upload might not have worked, well i uploaded it again so let me know if anything else dosn't work

@Hodeløst Hjerte the witch coven is like the original i didn't change anything in it, and comparing it to the original file there is no change so can't be this mod problem

In addition to what's already been said, the "Found Witch Coven" decision isn't showing up when it's supposed to. Haven't done much testing so I'm not sure if it'll show up at all. Thank you again for making this mod btw :)

A quick heads up! Put "}" after "has_innovation = innovation_currency_01". You've erased it and now there's no text showing for feudalizing in the game.

For some reason playing with this mod disables the decision for forming a new kingdom for me, I don't know if this is a bug for anyone else but yea.

This mod bugs out the "Adopt Feudal Ways" and "Adopt Clan Ways" decisions. Corvus updated those to require only 70% of tribal innovations instead of the full 100%. But with this mod active it erroneously requires all 100% again

@tand, if the mod doesn't work even alone then it's corrupted, unsubscrib, open the luncher, go into mods and click reload mods, wait like 1-2min, close luncher, subscrib again, make sure it downloaded, then open the luncher and activate the mod. should work then.

If there were some way to make it require that all rulers be independent from EACH other, but not necessarily totally independent, I think that would be a good balance.
I.E. If you were King of France and had 9 people setup with Kingdoms in the HRE, that should still count, but if you were the Emperor of the HRE, they would not count.

All that said, it's probably pretty difficult to implement.

Good idea, but i think the idea behind this requirement was to award the fact that your dynasty earn a huge amount of renown. To be consitent with the fact that rulers will not add Renown to their Dynasty if any Liege is a member of the same Dynasty.

Interesting idea, but I personally like putting my dynasty members on indepentent kingdom thrones, it adds a a bit of "spice" to the late game.

Thanks for this! I believe the "independent ruler" requirement was just added as a way to make the decision harder to achieve. A dynasty of reigning kings/queens is still notable even if they are all under an emperor so this mod makes the decision a lot more practical.
