I would post the error log but Steam is probably not keen on a 2000-line message...
Without specific details steam policy is clear on this point, no reuploads
I would suggest looking for the mod adjuster script by ash like snow.
You would have had a on screen notification that the pack was not compatible
About not damaging the ground... Is it the same issue about not damaging own grid?

Could be a way of knowing/showing when certain weapons are reloaded?
Or at least, could you add in the description the reloading times?
I may still give it a try.
Personally as I spent fair amount of time on the LODs and textures for some of the models I would not like them copied all over like the old ones.
