You're the boss, you do that and i'd appreciate it. I dont really understand how all the modding stuff like authoring tools and gcf works along with any manual changing of files. Which sucks for me because if i could i'd make a halo gun pack for ravenfield actually, but thats off topic.

I'd disagree with them being fine, but that's beside the point. If you're fine with the stats that are in this mod for the pump action then sure, I can just extract that one file and put it up for you. Or if you don't wanna wait you can do it yourself with GCFScape.

i would like to ask if you could make a addon that only throws the pump into a secondary while changing it stats too fit such a place. You are right that the addons currently for it are ridiculous instead of something simple and logical. I just dont want to mess with all the other guns when theyre fine

Nah, you were right if you were talking about L4D1 campaigns, the SMG didn't spawn at all there, it did spawn in L4D2 campaigns though. I also noticed I haven't added some OG survivors hands to weapons. Once I figure out the spawning I'll push an update.

As for the machine pistols rarity, I don't know, doesn't seem rare to me, I've played around 12 campaigns, it was there every time. Definitely not as common as the pistols though, but that's a good thing IMO. IIRC a lot of them are placed by hand, same thing with magnums.

Honestly, both feel considerably weaker than dual pistols, so I'll think about buffing them, I'll wait for some more feedback if it ever comes : D

Actually, the fact that it needs to reload so much is one of the balancing factors and the reason why I left it at its original damage. I've been thinking of reverting the accuracy changes due to it having problems with killing things beyond 3-4 metres but I don't think I'll be changing mag capacity, reload time maybe, from 0.473 to something like 0.425. And maybe up the rate of fire a bit, from 0.45 to around 0.4, it feels a little sluggish.

As for the rarity, yeah, I know, it depends on the director I believe, pump shotgun will be much more common now, but only in the beggining because I've changed it back to tier 1, it didn't spawn at 0 at all I believe. I couldn't make it spawn with tier 0 weapons because I'd have to give it the pistol tag which removed it's firing sound which was obviously unacceptable. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can share some insight on this and possible sollutions.

this is a great mod
the shotgun needs to reload too much, maybe make the shotgun quicker to reload, or increase the mag size to 5
and both guns feels somewhat rare, is there something you can do about that ?
