It’s still a wave strier, It will remain the same size and shape, as for the features, and interior, they are very much different. The aft deck won’t have the oscar and instead the landing pad is combined with a vehicle hoist that works with a number of add on vehicles to be released alongside the ship which cuts back on lag. Theres lots of other improvements like stairs to the bridge and more functional com tower.

Also the ship suffered a nasty glitch that took it from less laggy to worse ever, took me more time than i want to admit just narrowing the issue to a single pivot lol

The ship it’s self is 95% done, Im still in the process of ripping out all the old logic/lua and simplifying it, the engine/driver system is all one microcontroller now and i did away with the preset speeds. I’ve been celebrating the holidays and a bit sick so i took a short break. I hope to get it released by February, but no promises.

It actually can be controlled by remote, The orbiters that is, it's channel 6, and is in the Orbiter details of the desc. That being said The Orbiters are being enhanced with the coming version of the ship. I'm not sure how practical it would be to have the Main drive Remote controlled seeing as it is so fast, (New ship gets up to 120 knots) I'll see what can be done, The 2 drive modes are separate of each other, but I shall give it a go.

Well, with the update the engines do still work, But the ship now sinks, as I understand it isn't just My ship, so I will be awaiting a patch.

Hey Every. The Space DLC/update is coming, and I suspect the Delta and even Echos upgraded engines aren’t going to handle it well, thus Echo might be delayed. I will attempt to future proof it, but if the update breaks the engines, I will immediately tackle them.

Thank you, I certainly enjoy working on the Strier's when I'm not exceedingly busy with other things.

The auto cannon is controlled from the seat to the left of the main helm, just as it will be with the Echo, just a lot more capable. I'm still learning to build the weapons, especially the systems to control them.

All with considerably less moving parts and it already has a better frame rate with the simpler framework.

The Echo will have new escape pods, helipad, weapons, utility, repair-ability, armory, apu, and layout, including tons of other changes, just consider it the delta gutted and upgraded from the keel up.

Of course, Though I have no idea when it will be ready, I'm working on it when I have the time, and 95% of the logic was patch-worked throughout the delta rebuild and updates so the majority of my work is refinement, could be a month or more.

I was able to get it to freak out, and it seems to do it while the ship is moving, it gets caught on the stab arms, I will try a few things, double up the hinges and close the stabs when the pad is moving. just keep in mind, the helipad is the product of my first attempt at this games logic building, In fact I built it before there was even a ship. I simply isn't practical lol

I'm also having lots of issues with the helipad, most of the issues are due to a single hinge lifting a huge piece of the ship, The Wave Strier Echo I have been working on has an entirely new helipad that doesn't touch the water, It is actually complete, but echo is a full redesign so it will be a bit longer till it is uploaded.

I will check the delta and see what it is doing.

I'd just like to let everyone know, Project Echo is underway, The new Wave Strier will be refreshed with all new interior layout, less lag, new landing pad, weapons, improved stability and handling, and an emphasis on campaign/combat effectiveness.

I've only just started, so completion date is unknown, as such I will no longer be making large changes to the Delta.

It's certainly working, Make sure you are loading a fresh ship from the Workshop tab to get the updated version, Only other thing I can think is starting a fresh worls.

Okay I updated the ship and also added a capacitor to the landing pad sequence, sometimes it lags a bit but there isn't a way from that given the ships complexity. It is at least more stable for now.

That is Embarrassing, Didn't see that a button was unplugged, to be fair, there are a lot of nodes. I will correct it immediately, along with have another crack at the landing pad issue.

Also, the controls for the Cannon are at the seat to the port/left side of the seat used to drive.

I have witnessed the one on the right side not going all the way up, Sadly It doesn't appear to be anything I did to the ship, it would seem an update did something funny to it. I've looked into it twice, I will try to tackle it again when I have a moment.

one side of the landing pad wont go up and ive tried spawning the ship first and heli last it still wont work please help

The only thing I noticed after the fix is that spawning the Delta with the hopper in range, WILL interrupt the spawn sequence of all the landing pad logic, Always spawn the ship first to allow everything to settle, also the pad appears to be acting inconsistent, Likely due to an update, The logic for it is very old and with time I will dig into it and work out it's bugs.

By the way, the 4 Key will turn on the helicopters connectors so the ship will receive it, that is if you haven't already done so.

It would appear I unplugged half of the roof equipment, including the radios, I am looking into a quick update, the landing pad is currently not responding to the hopper.

I've been trying to land the Hopper on the landing pad, but the pad connectors won't connect. How can I fix this?
