Wave Strier Delta

This version of the ship doesn't have the landing pad, Oscar, and Escape Pods, along with a few other components.

Wave Strier Delta, is a multipurpose, agile, cutter style ship based off the Wave Strier Alpha but is larger and more refined, and far more features. It's equipped with an APU and 2 jet turbine engines that can propel the ship up to 86 knots and has a range of almost 300km. The Dynamic drivers can vector and even cut power to the propellers to avoid lots of the instability that comes with high speeds, while the stab arm stabilizers on the sides maintain an upright ship and can even flip it back over. USE SPEEDS ABOVE "WAVE" IN ROUGH CONDITIONS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO START:
While hovering over the Start engine label on the touch screen, press the 'E' key and the engine will go into start sequence, once the Generators are ready, the ready indicator on the dash will light up, at which point the speed selections on the right side display can be pressed in the same way. along with that, sitting in the pilot seat will light the checklist on the bottom of the console.

Facilities

The Ship has several rooms. On the bow, the Captains quarters, with nice fake plants and a restroom, houses the lock for the access doors and a desk with camera feeds. Towards the back, you'll find the medical bay, with an entertaining hose going through the middle of it. Along the hull are 4 crew rooms, 2 of which are for officers. Along with those is a room to lock up bad people (Code 137), a fully equipped living space with a TV that hides the controls for the cannon on the front of the ship, which is sadly only for fun. And at the bottom of the stairs is the Oscar Room(Ocean/Surface-Car)

OS-Car

The Oscar is a remote controllable vehicle that sits on the back of the ship, it can drive up on to land, has a decent speed, and makes a good lifeboat as well. The buttons to deploy it are on the back of the ship, or it can be controlled remotely through a small room in the ship, once the ramp has slid out, you climb in through the hatch on top, when ready to deploy, hit the connector button and the ramp will drop. To get the Oscar back on, drive it on to the ramp and turn the connectors back on.

Crane

The crane is on the roof of the ship and is controlled via the seat at the back of the bridge hold 2 to deploy it and 1 to retract, once its retracted it will store its self, no need to line it back up. It can also be used as a fuel boom. NOTE: The Radio tower on the roof will slide forward to allow the crane to move, which will render the radar useless.

Features

(((NEW))) Overdrive Trim, The nose can by raised or lowered for stability or speed depending on needs or weight, be it more or less fuel for hauling weight. The controller is on the right side dash next to the lights, (This is an advanced function, Use reset button to default.)

Course holding feature, just face the ship in the direction you wish to travel and hit the set button, hit it again to deactivate the system. Autopilot will override Course hold.

Autopilot is on the left, once the ship reaches the set coordinates, the ship will turn off the dynamic drivers, it will not go around things.

Anti Collision is on by default, and can be turned off. Anti collision can detect things in the fog and will stop the drivers if it determines the ship is about to hit a beach doing 85 knots, and pancake everything. --NEW-- Obstacle Avoidance system ((Experimental)) Doesn't work with course hold. This system will attempt to avoid obstacles ahead of the ship, the system also works with autopilot. if it fails to avoid an island it will fall back on anti collision and stop the drivers.

The foldout Heli-pad, is the original feature of this ship, The button is on the inside of the right side door, once pressed the landing pad will fold out from the underside of the ship, To have an aircraft activate the landing pad on approach, Set an antenna to freq 178 and give it power to transmit, The ship should respond.

The Grabber is a deep sea retrieval device that is deployed via the Orbiter Control at the main helm By hitting 2, it will switch the orbiter screen to a camera screen, if the grabber is not returned correctly it will impact the ships speed!

Firefighting stations are on each cannon and the bow just under the gun. there is a button for the equipment rack between the doors that reveal firefighting suits, its on the ceiling.

Orbiters

One of the most advanced systems on the ship is the Orbiter maneuvering thrusters (Still being tweaked) By pressing 1 at the helm, the drivers will stop and the ship will enter maneuvering mode, the needles on the screen show the direction of travel, the flashing bars show when you are close to something, while the numbers show the distance from the object relative to that part of the ship. The lasers on the ship will point in the direction of travel to show the ships direction from a remote location. Using a handheld remote on channel 6 You can control the orbiter and use the lasers to determine direction. (Also handy for stopping the ship if you fall off) PS. Make sure you have the remote

In the event of a Capsize, You can escape to the underbelly of the ship by climbing down(UP) to the Airlock.

It’s still a wave strier, It will remain the same size and shape, as for the features, and interior, they are very much different. The aft deck won’t have the oscar and instead the landing pad is combined with a vehicle hoist that works with a number of add on vehicles to be released alongside the ship which cuts back on lag. Theres lots of other improvements like stairs to the bridge and more functional com tower.

Also the ship suffered a nasty glitch that took it from less laggy to worse ever, took me more time than i want to admit just narrowing the issue to a single pivot lol

The ship it’s self is 95% done, Im still in the process of ripping out all the old logic/lua and simplifying it, the engine/driver system is all one microcontroller now and i did away with the preset speeds. I’ve been celebrating the holidays and a bit sick so i took a short break. I hope to get it released by February, but no promises.
