I really want to love this campaign, but it is not bot friendly in the slightest. I lost all my teamates because one decided to poke an explosive barrel with his foot. its like escorting a sped class through a minefield. Sometimes they don't need explosives to kill them selves. They got suicidal urges programmed into the map. they are magnetically attracted to jumping off the elevators. Still, good map

oh man i remember playing this back in early 2021, i actually found a full server that ended up being my friend group. Though 2 of them moved on and the other friend is still here with me.

for some reason only 1 person in my friend list could join, others couldnt load the map

Good campaign even on expert but the finale requires a lot of babysitting the bots via warping and telling them to wait to avoid tripping the mines.

Just saying, the finale can be skipped entirely. There's a "walkway" at the edge of the map, able to reach the helicopter. Just stay there at the mountain, the horde will not move. And this is definitely the worst part for this map.

awesome, and I don't think there's been a blue shift map port of any kind for this game. Would be great to see in the future though. Good luck on that, the AI voices would make it interesting. You should add gas events or generator level for that part, or something like the horde run finale on the parish for Blue Shift maps.

also I have an elevenlabs subscription (impulse purchase lmao) so I could possibly get some "original" ai-cloned voice acting by the scientist and security guards in the next one.

No problem, I think the community is too generous with 5 stars on this workshop item. Any criticism is good criticism. Any future campaigns will definitely include more L4D style things such as horde events / defend sections to break the running-through-halls-simulator feeling this campaign has.

I wanted to port the following chapters but I got lazy, and also I believe other users have beat me to the punch. I could try the blue shift levels. Depends on how easy it is to decompile the maps and get the textures to line up with the walls after the decompile process. I remember 3kliksphilip has a video on the general process so maybe I'll start there.

You did a good job regardless, I didn't want my comment to sound negative, I didn't have any problem on expert realism during the playthrough, and no bugs or glitch spots. Overall though it's a map that I'll eventually play some other time, do you plan on porting the Half Life Blue Shift maps?

A janky map that's actually boring in the end. Would recommend trying out the black mesa maps, because this barebone port isn't worth it. The only good part were the suit and tank toilet easter egg.

for which difficulty? there's videos of me playing it on normal on each map, and it was even more difficult in the previous versions with extra tanks and no revive closets

this map is so badly balanced its borderline unplayable solo jesus christ
