yes, everything is OK, here is an idea for a new mod =) if at all possible to make a mod for this, it is possible to replace textures or reduce this box to a microbox. Thanks for the answer!

Well, it's not a single mod and not contained to one mod.. it's *any and all mods* that add loot without setting up the item correctly and specifying a correct 3dmesh for it .. the game 'defaults' to the beer-case for an 'error item' intentionally by the game devs as an 'obvious sign' something has gone wrong

Unless you want to track down *every* mod you have that adds loot and get the authors to change their code, it's just something you have to live with.

yes, you got it right, can you tell me which mod can hide these boxes, make them transparent (invisible), it just pisses me off like a corpse flying up on a pile of boxes))))

you mean the ""default red/grey beer crate model/mesh" caused by people not setting the archetype of their loot items correctly?

if that, then yes, answer is above and not something this mod can 'fix' :)

Can you tell me how to make sure that when a large amount of loot is dropped from a dead enemy, only a yellow frame is displayed, without boxes?

@RustyDios, thanks for mods, I really like your works. Question not related to this mod topic, more about game lore. How do you think the game developers "lore" explain the loot expiration ? Advent army have some "micro bombs" in weapon extensions ?

so, funny story.. but I've fixed that issue back in February/April ... it was because of the loot drops getting a hard set MAX turns that gets set to the Expiring Time on creation ...

and then I didn't upload that fix to the workshop .... ....
hence why "it works for me" has been my answer so far!

Now fixed!

Seconding what Lûte the Goblin was saying about the psi loot timer being broken. It goes 3-1-0.

Set the `bLootExpirationEnabled` to false (which actually put 999 turns on the timer). it cannot be 'fully' turned off.

If nothing is changing when you adjust the config in this file, make sure you don't have another mod also adjusting the configs

tell me how to turn off the stupid timer? this mod is not added to the mod configurator and no matter what value I put in the ini file, nothing changes

Just did some more testing and my previous comment is correct. Without this mod it uses the same timer as regular loot: 3 -> 2 -> 1 -> Expire.

Psi loot is suppose to be 2 turns, ie 2 > 1 > expire.
If it is showing 3 after splitting then that is a bug I'll have to look into, but I can't recall it being there before and I haven't changed this mod in ages.

You can adjust the numbers in the config.

That other mod doesn't touch psi-loot at all, so there should be no conflict.

To clarify: Regular loot's counter goes from 3 to 2 to 1 to Expire but Psionic loot goes from 3 to 1 to Expire.

Ever since I installed this the Psionic loot expires at twice the normal rate. I'm not using any of the incompatible mods.

Bug report: Makes psi zombie walking animation really spastic for some reason.

Turned off all other mods except highlander for testing. Tho I did not regen inis so there is a chance it is on my end only.

Really should be using the AML for playing modded XCOM2. It makes things work much better than the default launcher.

anyway mods are located here: \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500
and then the folder number matches the steamID (last part of browser address or steam share), in the case of this mod; 2043070900

.. and then you should see the \config folder there

Steam can be a bit weird with updates and sometimes it fails to actually do the update (despite AML showing you it has) ... in case like this I always try an unsub/resub, to just to ensure the version is the latest. -- The fix might not apply in a mid-tactical save? (I was running fresh tactical battles in my testing)

Thanks for the report! .. I was so concerned with testing the HuntersAxe and Loot Expired merges, that I completely forgot to check on normal loot drops.

I'm investigating the issue now

@RustyDios Houston I believe we may have a problem with this new update, I don't know if It's just me but I'm seeing infinite icon symbols above the picking up loot now which was always three on default. I've checked the config files and everything looks normal so I don't know if something broke within this new update Rusty. Thanks for another great update on loot post mover.

I really really like the implementation from the "Loot You Missed" mod. It just makes more sense to me. Cutting out non-player controlled camera pans is always a favourable thing imo, and I can see no reason why your units couldn't identify the stuff laying on the ground before it evaporates (to display that info on the side)
