Excuse me, Xyhro, but have you tried Riposte or Rout + Conduit combo? They are both immensely powerful abilities that can perform role akin to the bladestorm.

Much appreciated iridar, doing a heavily modded Christopherodd campaign and this class plus jedi are struggling to keep up with the new classes and Overpowered enemies so hopefully bladestorm and such helps

This class was designed to function without these abilities, but if you really want to, you can .ini edit them in.

It took me a while to try this class, but I'm so glad I did. The style, the animations, the moveset. I absolutely love it. Amazing work.

If you can give me specific reproduction steps of the issue with a minimal modlist (ideally without LWOTC), I'd be happy to fix this, but I'm not installing a huge modlist with an overhaul I don't play to figure it out.

@Scroller yeah slomo from 10 to 1000; I think I narrowed it down and it might be that the game just gets confused when an enemy is killed by intercept and other "targets" start to move because of it (because of panic, for example). So for anyone else, try to stay away from anything that causes that

@Eis Atomismus - Have you tried speeding up the animation when it happens? It could be that something is happening but at a greatlly slower rate than normal and it might actually be off-screen.

I realize there's probably nothing to be done about this and I'm running a lot of mods (RPGO and LWOTC to say the least), but Intercept will sometimes cause the game to not be able to finish the alien turn, and everyone gets stuck in their idle animations. Since Rout is just mass intercept, this happens almost inevitably with more than one target. Haven't run into any other problems.

I really like the idea of a one hand melee user who has a benefit from being empty for the secondary so i might juts use it, the image actually catched me on this. do you remember the cosmetic items used for that? are they all part of the stormrider cosmetic set you linked?

I have a silly question, that I can't seem to wrap my mind around it.
Does Windcaller's Fury have the same functionality as Kenjutsu (the baseline Ranger ability), as in they both make melee attacks cost only 1 action and don't end turns, assuming you attack on blue movement, and then attack again?
Or Windcaller's will ALWAYS make an attack cost 1 action, even when the target is 2 points of movement away?

Hi. This mod doesn't include any abilities called Fleche. It's not made for LW2 or LWOTC envronment.

Is the main attack with sword really Fleche?
I run it with LW2 with Shinobis, that also use a swords and they use abillity Fleche, that increasing damage output by tiles. It doesnt work that way by me. Smt is wrong or its just a coincidence of names?

Make sure you have all the required mods and that you have only one Primary Secondaries mod. Also, True Primary Secondaries is incompabile with Commander's Choice, if you're using that to promote a rookie to a Stormrider, they'll end up with an assault rifle. Though you should still be able to change it. Either way this is not a problem with the class.

Thanks. I couldn't figure out the template but after reading hundreds of comments i came upon one that was a lifesaver and fixed my issue. In case someone has the same problem, i typed WSRAdditem "emptysecondary" 1 and i got back empty slots. Now my only bug is that some primaries will unequip on akimbo and stormrider (pistols and swords) at random but that is probably the true primary secondaries beta issue.

You can try adding it with a console command, I guess. You will need to subscribe to Weapon Skin Replacer and use WSRAddItem command. You can find the template name of the empty secondary in the files of the true primary secondaries mod.

I read some people experience this issue in other related mods. It's odd because in a new campaign the empty slot appears under secondary choices in stormrider so it can't be a mod conflict. I think the empty slot was replaced by an arc blade on my stormriders the moment i upgraded. Is there something else i can do to make it appear in my current game? Like add a command line in an ini somewhere?

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess this is what is wrong with my game. There is no empty option among my secondaries. I can only change to something else. I use some other weapons and swords, mostly skins. I don't know what mod could be causing this. I have been careful with what i add and alternative mod manager has no conflicts. This the first bug i have in 400 hours.

Hey this my favorite class as many of my favorite characters use swords. Everything was great until i upgraded swords to next tier and all my stormriders auto equipped on empty secondary slot. Maybe i am dumb but how do you unequip the 2nd sword? I have no plans to dual wield at least not in this playthrough nor do i use dual wield mod. Apart from unfair damage my characters hold invisible weapon when they have 2 swords and i hate that. I read a lot of comments but can't figure it out. There is no x on top right to remove a sword or gun apart from the 2nd utility slot.

At first i was baffled why is there no animations, since your main post doesnt cover that.
It took me 20 mins reading discussion pages all they way back to 2022 to dig out post and quote it in last post.

You can ignore the two log warnings you posted. As for Dual Wield Melee, last time I checked it worked perfectly fine with True Primary Secondaries, as long as you're using Musashi's Mods Fixes.
Commander's Choice is bugged, you can use alternatives like Choose My Class or Use My Class or just let a soldier promote to a Stormrider naturally through RNG.

Neither Dual Melee nor TPS are my mods, and there's nothing special about Stormrider in the way it interacts with them.

In other words, if these mods don't work for you, it's not really on me to help you figure out the problem with them. Usually people having issues with them are doing something obviously bad, like using both Primary Secondaries mods at the same time.

As for animation issues, the problem would be in Primary Secondaries or Dual Wield Melee not working properly for whatever reason. If you've used Commander's Choice mod to promote this soldier into a Stormrider, there's a known conflict with CC and True Primary Secondaries due to a bug in CC.

Alternatively, if you're using specifically dual swords, then if the soldier is using an attitude that was added in Tactical Legacy Pack (e.g. Cocky or Suspicious), then that could cause the rifle issue in the Armory, since - if I recall correctly - Dual Wield Melee doesn't have animations for those attitudes.
