Sorry, I realize that more so now. I just was surprised about finding that issue today. I use over 250 mods, and I finally have no gamebreaking issues so far.

---on a note UNrelated to your mod--
for over 250 mods i get only a minor error here or there that is reset/fixes itself or has no lasting issue beyond a job stutter of a pawn (these are red errors)

(aka they stand for so many ticks til they reassign themselves to another job, only in 40 plus pawn colonies does this issue usually appear, and its a few seconds til they go about there day again, happens rarely)

If this is intended to prevent you from using them as fishers as they usually only can do that task alot of the time, then fair point.

they do give me free labor for food they eat, while fishing, so they are not completely useless guests.

So risk, reward i take it.

Interesting bug issue/ not a programming issue but unintentional interaction i assume.

A guest from a quest (or at least any guest that can still fish) will be attacked by a fish on the Fishing Tragedy!
this attack counts as being done by the player...which results in faction goodwill lost.

I find this....unsettling, and very risky to have guest with low faction happiness to fish as you could end up hostile over a FISH BITE, that you have little to no control over. Unless you prevent guests from fishing....even as joy.

hello my problem about that game stopping and error in game log is seems tobe related to vanilla expanded framework, removing framework solved it
also i was getting same error from si-cafe's rework as well

As I reported to Rainbeau Flambe, the original author of this mod, I have created a reworked version of this fishing mod.
I have rewritten all textures and most of the def data. It's not necessarily better, but please try it!

hello, when a colonist use fishing spots from this mod game automatically stops each time, it not game breaking but annoying at some point and in log i getting this

the fishing spots could do with having a job option so that you can give job options for when to and not to fish based on criteria or just by suspending the job without deleting the fishing spot entirely (I have the same complaint for Vanilla Fishing Expanded, would also like to be able to use RF Fishing meats in place of theirs and vice versa) as I'm not fond of being forced to set fishing to a 4th tier job just to make pawns not fish until other work is done first

I occasionally get "Failed to find Verse.ThingDef named WoolCamel.", apparently somewhere in JobDriver_CatchFish, when the game tries to generate a fishing catch. Camel wool was removed back in 1.1, so it probably just needs to be removed from the list of items that can be caught.

The lobster traps, last I used, are absolutely busted and create tons of meat, perhaps they should need resets before they can gather more?

Tried using this mod when playing in multiplayer using Zetrith's mod https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1752864297 . Sadly the game desyncs when something is cought in a shellfish trap.

Experiencing the same problem as Aquiles - squid/eel leather is not seen as a material anymore, so my storage is full of tainted items made of this stuff : (

Having a weird steam/game bug. I subscribed to the mod thru game. Then after some game restarts, I tried to "Go To Workshop Page" from the game mod menu (no mod menu mods), and it opens steam but tells me the page does not exist. I hit Unsubscribe, and nothing happens. If I go in thru steam, I see I am still subscribed, and of course the steam page is there.

Hey there, I'm having the same issue as @James Stone where the fish recipes aren't showing up on the electric stove, and try as I might I can't figure out how to report this bug on the GitHub link you shared (never used GitHub before so I'm a bit out of my depth... no pun intended!)

Hello, the game doesn't allow to burn apparel made of squid or eel leather. It keeps saying "need material" and it is right there. Hope somebody say it to the author, please. I don't have GitHub account.

There's a problem in this fork that was fixed in the original mod, that by some mod incompatibility the recipes aren't showing on the Electric Stove.
