I published the updated version for the "new" sonars. Finally.

issue with new sonars is they have less stuff. Like seriously, why would they make sonars so un-useful??

I don't particularly care about deprecated sonars or not, but I'll go elsewhere for a better attitude. Have a good one.

Deprecated sonars are still avaiable in the component inventory unlike the rest of the deprecated stuff.

If you are looking for a microprocessor that uses the new sonars go somewhere else. This microprocessor intentionally uses the old sonars no matter what you think about it.

Hello Fish Kid, the 3rd map option locks the vehicle direction instead of nord, and because of that it doesn't have a map.

This works with any of the radars that swivel. It all comes up to the FOV settings you have on your radar and sweep speed. If it sometimes misses detections, increase FOV or/and reduce the sweep speed.

when i first put this in when i turn on sonar and radar no targets show up and no sweeping im pretty sure i pasted it wrong if it keeps happening idk what to do

Hey Peekofwar, the map defaults to your radar range setting. If you want to have a custom default spawn, you can change line 25 in the last LUA (the one direclty connected to the video feed)

Hello. I´m using your system in my vessel with a large sonar. But the blue "ping" circle doesn´t go beyond 1km in the screen scale interface. I set the microcontroller to "large sonar", but still the same. Any ideas?

The sonar sensor itself is not precise at all in this game so as far as I know nobody is using it for navigation as you would irl.
A lot of detections are fishes, I believe those are usually around 400 mass, while 10 mass could be some other object

Hello! so im building a submarine and utlizing the sonar system for navigation, but i noticed that the sonar system dosent mark targest every ping, but instead marks targets every 3 pings, i would love to know if this is a bug or is it because my sonar sensor is to low in the water to not detect contacts?

This is incredible! Just one question; Is there any way I could change the default zoom? (Since I have a low range sonar, and if I zoom in to 500, it stops me from zooming out again, but it opens at 2000 meters by default.)

Hi, the + and - for the zoom are offset left by one pixel on the 5x3 and 9x5 screens, not sure about the others though.

by the way I don't know if it is the MC or storm works but monitor some times blinks at high speeds i am thinking its storm works however i just wanted you to know that in case it not a storm works bug i thought it would be best for you to know I encounter this problem
