i tried to add you as friend but you might be away or having too many friend invites :) but i would like to ask you if i could (in future) use a small bit of a sign you made, (modified a bit too), in my recycling mod for rimworld?
https://steamproxy.net/profiles/76561198047650167/myworkshopfiles/
(basically its a mod about recycling, and i have a barber shop planned, and just wanted to use a bit of the scissors and bit of broken sign here and there, that players could try repairing, or recycling back into steel
See my last comment. It may be possible to save your cities but that depends on how Dude is developing his new mod. If he doesn't preserve the old names and paths of the parts within the Mod, then they will be all new parts with no relation to your existing build. If the new names are different it might still be possible to save parts from the old Mod if you can match the new names with the old ones. Then you can replace the old parts in the database with the new ones.
I wrote a utility to replace building parts in a saved game. It's a .exe so I can't put it up here. It's on nexusmods.com and it's called "Building Piece Replacer". I won't post an external link but you can find it on the Nexus if you look.
Please respond. Cheers!
