What happened to the custom soundtrack menu? I accidentally moved off it and it never went back no matter what i did.

Since the mod was updated to no longer cut off boss intros longer than the cutscene, it will now continue to play when I press space to skip the intro, causing it to blend with the music for a bit. It sounds jarring and I would appreciate if this could be fixed.

it is possible, I just wasn't sure if it would be worth the time/effort, I mean realistically how many soundtracks are going to want to use different music between two slightly different versions of the same floor that you won't spend much time hearing the music of

I've taken another stab at the loud start bug, it's not happening to me and I'm not sure why it's happening to anyone but I've added a couple things which I think/hope should prevent it

I will be updating the included soundtracks soon

If I'm not mistaken, the Death Certificate music (echoes reverse) is technically a different song from the one on Home (echoes of mom twisted v2). Would it be possible to set the music for them separately?

Besides Rebirth, the pre-included soundtracks do not have defined main menu themes or nightmare jingles for Repentogon. Could you add these?

@KingoKings365 just tested that and it played the boss rush music. either do what i did and then yell at steam or check to see if songs are configured correctly

sure, not sure how much it would help but it wouldn't hurt
though I would try deleting the mod from your pc and letting steam download it again first, just to make sure you have the latest version (steam doesn't always auto download updates)

excelsior is a little weird, clearly they wanted people to be able to listen to it without the soundtrack menu (which is totally understandable), but instead of making a separate version for the soundtrack menu they updated the mod so it adds its tracks to soundtrack menus list while still overwriting the games base music (i.e the default soundtrack)

[RGON BUG (and surporisingly my first)]

Whenever a secret room jingle, deal jingle, or prehaps a boss room jingle (basically any jingle) plays, the volume of all sound effects currently playing upon the jingle have their volume lowered instead of the volume on the currently playing song only being lowered.

also when using music mod callback instead of repentogon, the currently playing song just restarts after the jingle(s) finish

I am also having a bug where the run intro jingle is being cut off, and the "boss defeat" jingle is also being cut off

Have added nightmare jingle selection to the custom mode menu, the greed mode boss kill and double jingle bugs should be fixed now

Reporting a bug that might've been mentioned already, but as of a few days ago whenever I open a secret room both the jingle I have set and the default jingle play, as well as seemingly making the bomb explosion sound not play.

Additionally, I have a mod that changes the Devil Room jingle ("I'm the devil, like, from bible"), and it doesn't seem to be playing anymore? This might be since I unsubbed and resubbed to try and fix my issues, though (and other things included in the devil mod work fine).

If it helps any, I have Repentogon installed, though I haven't touched any of the settings related to it when it comes to the soundtrack menu.

Hello, this is a really awesome mod to have. I had a suggestion for the custom soundtrack part if possible, although you can hide which soundtracks from playing from shuffle or random, maybe you can have the option to be able to set which soundtracks can play for each indivisual song for a custom song list like Basement will play rebirth or antibirth only and cellar plays antibirth or excelcior only allowing each song to switch between certain soundtracks,

Additionally, in greed mode boss and devil battle tracks don't end immediately after winning those battles until leaving the room. Not that I mind, just wanted to share.

I really don't understand why people keep asking if soundtracks can not be in shuffle
the answer is in the description, sure it's a bunch of text but the answer isn't that far down, it's just under the first link to the soundtrack collection
but people shouldn't even need to see the answer in the description anyway, the options in the config menu are pretty obvious, they're literally labelled "Include in shuffle and randomize"

This isn't a big problem, Just a small pet peeve to me. But whenever I start a new run the little jingle that is supposed to play is immediately cut out by the music of the floor like 75% of the time.

MMC is not needed if you have repentogon

the custom mode (just like shuffle or random) respects the jingle setting of whichever soundtrack it's currently playing from, but now that I think of it having a 'global' setting isn't a bad idea, or at the very least being able to switch the jingle setting of all the soundtracks without having to go through each and every one if you have a lot of them, might add that in
the double jingles thing I'm not getting, are you using repentogon or MMC?

weird that you got that error message, as the mod checks for stageAPI running before doing the StopOverriding function, I will add a fail-safe to check that the function exists before trying to use it

I have another idea to try for the volume thing, please check after the next update

I'm still having the issue, notable when starting a new run and the jingle for starting it is immediately cut off by the soundtrack chosen. still having the loud for a moment bug too, Otherwise mod works well. Should I switch to repentagon instead of MMC?

Can you add the "jingles dont interrupt music" setting to the custom soundtrack mode? Also, 2 jingles still play over each other when using the custom mode.

Can you please fix the music when starting a run for a regular character? After the last update, the music also stops in the middle, and then the soundtrack volume of the first floor is turned up to 300%

When viewing the encyclopedia in the "dead sea scrolls" menu and interacting with it, the sound of the devil's room appearing is played instead of the usual clicks. Also, when starting a race, the music playing while the run is loading is interrupted in the middle.

hmm, I'm not getting this, also literally every single Music:Play function in the mod that plays something other than silence is immediately followed by a function to set the volume to the users music volume setting, I'll try putting a volume update function in the run start/continue function, see if that helps

Mod just updated ingame and when soundtracks play for a moment the volume is much higher in left ear. Replicated by holding R key while using the "custom soundtrack" option with different tracks for the Basement/Cellar/Burning Basement

you two might need to delete your local copy of the mod, or unsub temporarily, to make sure steam gets you the latest version, it doesn't always auto-download updates
actually you can check if the menu text for a soundtrack mentions 'sfx jingles' or 'interrupting jingles', as I changed the text in a recent update, 'sfx' is the old text
